Sillia is a genus of fungi within the Sydowiellaceae family. [1]
As accepted by Species Fungorum; [2]
Former species; [2]
The Hypocreales are an order of fungi within the class Sordariomycetes. In 2008, it was estimated that it contained some 237 genera, and 2647 species in seven families. Since then, a considerable number of further taxa have been identified, including an additional family, the Stachybotryaceae. Wijayawardene et al. in 2020 added more families and genera to the order. According to the Catalog of Life, As of April 2021 the Hypocreales contains 6 families, 137 genera, and 1411 species. Hyde et al. (2020a) listed 14 families under Hypocreales, while, Wijayawardene et al. (2022) accepted 15 families in the order, where Cylindriaceae was additionally added. Earlier, Hyde et al. (2020a) had placed Cylindriaceae in class Xylariomycetidae. Samarakoon et al. (2022) agreed. Hence, Cylindriaceae should have been excluded from Hypocreales and placed in Xylariomycetidae. Xiao et al. (2022) recently introduced a new family Polycephalomycetaceae to Hypocreales.
Spegazzinia is a genus of widely distributed mitosporic ascomycete fungi in the family Didymosphaeriaceae. As accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020.
The Nectriaceae comprise a family of fungi in the order Hypocreales. It was circumscribed by brothers Charles and Louis René Tulasne in 1865. In 2020, an Outline of fungi was produced and listed 70 genera and about 1,336 species.
Phyllachoraceae is a family of sac fungi.
The Phaeosphaeriaceae are a family of fungi in the order Pleosporales. Species in the family have a cosmopolitan distribution, and are generally nectrotrophic or saprobic on a wide range of plants.
Montagnula is a genus of fungi in the family Didymosphaeriaceae. The genus, circumscribed by mycologist Augusto Napoleone Berlese in 1896, contains an estimated 24 species in 2008, but is probably polyphyletic as currently circumscribed. It was originally placed in family Montagnulaceae, before that family was dissolved and it was later placed in family Didymosphaeriaceae, with 34 species.
Nodulosphaeria is a genus of fungi in the family Phaeosphaeriaceae.
Amarenomyces is a genus of fungi in the family Phaeosphaeriaceae. A monotypic genus, it contains the single species Amarenomyces dactylidisMapook, Camporesi & K.D. Hyde (2017) A former species A. ammophilae(Lasch) O.E. Erikss. (1981) is now Amarenographium metableticum.
Broomella is a genus of fungi in the family Sporocadaceae.
Phomatospora is a genus of fungi within the class Sordariomycetes, and since 2016, in the family Phomatosporaceae and order Phomatosporales. They are found in terrestrial, freshwater and marine habitats, across the world except Russia and Canada.
Sydowiella is a genus of fungi within the family Sydowiellaceae.
The Asterinaceae are a family of fungi in the class Asterinales.
Keissleriella is a genus of fungi, that was originally placed in the Massarinaceae family, before being placed in the Lentitheciaceae family.
Massarina is a genus of fungi in the Massarinaceae family. Anamorph forms of species in Massarina include Acrocalymma, Ceratophoma, and Tetraploa. Massarina was circumscribed by Pier Andrea Saccardo in 1883. The widespread genus contains about 100 species.
Phaeochoraceae is a family of sac fungi in the order Phyllachorales.
Sydowiellaceae is family of fungi in the order Diaporthales.
Seimatosporium is a fungus genus within the family Sporocadaceae.
Camarosporium is a genus of fungi belonging to the order Pleosporales, and originally placed in family Coniothyriaceae. It was then placed in the family Camarosporiaceae Wanas., Wijayaw., K.D. Hyde & Crous, 2017 with another genus Camarosporomyces. This has been accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020.
Evan Benjamin Gareth Jones is a British mycologist. His main area of research interest is aquatic fungi, particularly marine fungi. He has supervised about 100 PhD and MSc students, published approximately 600 research articles and is a highly cited scientist. Other research interests include marine biofouling, biodeterioration of materials, and wood decay by fungi.
Neocamarosporium is a genus of ascomycete fungi, as accepted by Wijayawardene et al. 2020. The species are typically halotolerant, being commonly found in saline environments like in saline water, hypersaline soils and especially in association with halophytes.
