Snapshots is the 12th studio album and the first covers album by British singer Kim Wilde. It was released in Germany on 26 August 2011 [1] by Columbia SevenOne. The album features versions of songs hand-picked by Wilde from the last five decades. It was later released in other European countries, including the United Kingdom, on 28 November 2011.
The album was preceded by its lead single, which is a double release of "It's Alright" and "Sleeping Satellite", originally recorded by East 17 and Tasmin Archer respectively. They were released on 19 August 2011 and both songs have an accompanying music video. Also on the album is a duet with her husband Hal Fowler on the final track "Kooks", originally by David Bowie. [2] The digital download version of the album available on the iTunes Store includes the bonus track "I'll Stand by You", originally by the Pretenders, as well as the music videos for "It's Alright" and "Sleeping Satellite". [3] A track-by-track interview was also available as an extra bonus for those who pre-ordered the album on iTunes. Another bonus track has been made available on an exclusive edition of the album only sold at Saturn stores. The song included is "Forever Young", originally recorded by Alphaville and first covered by Laura Branigan.
"To France", originally by Mike Oldfield featuring Maggie Reilly, was released digitally on 2 December 2011 as the second single from the album. It includes a brand new Christmas remix of the song as well as a remix of "It's Alright". [4] The third single "Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)", originally by the Buzzcocks, was released on 24 February 2012, under the shortened title of "Ever Fallen in Love", to promote Wilde's European tour. It was again only released digitally and includes a previously unreleased cover of "Spirit in the Sky", originally by Norman Greenbaum. [5]

Kim Wilde is an English pop singer. She first gained success in 1981 with her debut single "Kids in America", which peaked at No. 2 in the UK. In 1983, she received the Brit Award for Best British Female solo artist. In 1986, she had a UK No. 2 hit with a reworked version of the Supremes' song "You Keep Me Hangin' On", which also topped the US Billboard Hot 100 in 1987. Between 1981 and 1996, she had 25 singles that charted within the Top 50 of the UK Singles Chart. Her other hits include "Chequered Love" (1981), "You Came" (1988), and "Never Trust a Stranger" (1988). In 2003, she collaborated with Nena on the song "Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime", which topped the Dutch and Austrian charts.
Boxed is a box set by the British pop duo Eurythmics. It was released on 14 November 2005 by RCA Records and contains eight digitally remastered albums including 43 bonus tracks.
"Every Man Has a Woman Who Loves Him" is a song by Yoko Ono from the album Double Fantasy with John Lennon. Other versions were released, including one released as a single where Ono's voice was removed, leaving what had been Lennon's backing vocal as the primary vocal.
"If I Can't Have You" is a disco song written by the Bee Gees in 1977. The song initially appeared on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in a version by Yvonne Elliman, released in November 1977. The Bee Gees' own version appeared a month later as the B-side of "Stayin' Alive".
"Sleeping Satellite" is a song by British singer-songwriter Tasmin Archer, released in September 1992 by EMI and SBK as the first single from her debut album, Great Expectations (1992). The song was written by Archer with John Beck and John Hughes, and produced by Julian Mendelsohn and Paul Wickens. It received favorable reviews from music critics and became an international hit. "Sleeping Satellite" peaked at number one in the United Kingdom, Greece, Ireland, and Israel, and reached the top 20 in 13 other countries, as well as numbers 32 and 24 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and Cash Box Top 100 in June 1993. There were two different music videos produced to promote the single.
"I Guess I Like It Like That" is a 1991 promotional single written by Australian singer-songwriter Kylie Minogue and British producers Mike Stock and Pete Waterman for Minogue's fourth album Let's Get to It. The song samples 2 Unlimited's "Get Ready for This" written by Phil Wilde, Jean-Paul de Coster and Ray Slijngaard. On the 2015 UK re-release of the Let's Get to It album, Wilde and de Coster were credited as co-authors of the song (Stock/Waterman/Minogue/DeCoster/Wilde). The song also samples Freestyle Orchestra's "Keep On Pumping It Up" and the Salt-N-Pepa song "I Like It Like That".

Club Disco is the fifth studio album by Australian singer Dannii Minogue. It was released by All Around the World digitally on 5 November 2007 worldwide. It was also re-released in Australia on 27 May 2008 physically with the single "Touch Me Like That", and a bonus disc of club remixes. The album is heavily inspired by 1980s disco. Six singles were released from the album—"You Won't Forget About Me", "Perfection", "So Under Pressure", "I Can't Sleep at Night", "He's the Greatest Dancer" and "Touch Me Like That"—five of which reached number one on the UK Dance Chart.
"It's Alright" is a song by English boy band East 17, released in November 1993 by London Records as the sixth and last single from their debut album, Walthamstow (1993). The song was written by band member Tony Mortimer, and produced by Phil Harding, Ian Curnow, Richard Stannard and Neil James Stainton. The single version, labelled the "Guvnor mix", begins with a slow ballad-like intro for the first minute, before converting to the dance-pop sound for the rest of the track. It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart and became a number-one hit in Australia, France, Ireland, Israel, and Switzerland. The accompanying music video was directed by Chris Clunn and Lawrence Watson, depicting the band performing onstage. In 2011, English singer and songwriter Kim Wilde recorded a cover of the song for her 12th album, Snapshots (2011), which charted in Germany.
Vrisko To Logo Na Zo is the third Greek-language studio album and fifth studio album overall by Greek singer Helena Paparizou, released on June 12, 2008 by Sony BMG Greece. It was the first time that "DON - K" had produced the entire album and that Paparizou had contributed to an album both musically and lyrically. It was also the first time that a duet was included on one of her solo albums.
"One" is a song recorded by Japanese recording artist Ami Suzuki for her seventh studio album, Supreme Show (2008). It was written and produced by Japanese producer and Capsule member Yasutaka Nakata. The track is Suzuki's third single with Nakata after her August 2007 single's "Free Free" and "Super Music Maker". "It's Alright, It's OK" is a song by Ashley Tisdale from her second studio album, Guilty Pleasure. The song was written by Niclas Molinder, Joacim Persson, and David Jassy, while Molinder and Persson also produced the track. It was released as the album's lead single in Canada on April 13, 2009, being released in other countries in the following week. A CD single was released in numerous countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Lyrically, the song's theme of heartache and a bad relationship are similar to her previous works, as well as several other tracks featured on Tisdale's second album.
"Nightcall" is a song by French electro house artist Kavinsky, released as a single in 2010. It was produced with Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and mixed by electronic artist Sebastian. It features Lovefoxxx, lead singer of Brazilian band CSS, on vocals and includes remixes by Xavier de Rosnay, Jackson and His Computerband and Breakbot. The track was used in the title sequence for the film Drive, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan. "Nightcall" was included on Kavinsky's debut studio album, OutRun (2013).

"Girls Fall Like Dominoes" is a song by rapper Nicki Minaj. It serves as the seventh single from some deluxe editions of her debut album Pink Friday (2010). The song's chorus is sampled from "Dominos", a 2009 single by British indie rock band The Big Pink. "Girls Fall Like Dominoes" was originally released as an international iTunes Store bonus track on Minaj's debut album, Pink Friday; however it was released later on all editions of the album in the United Kingdom on March 11, 2011. The single was released on April 11, 2011 in Australia. It was released on April 15, 2011 as the fourth UK single after "Moment 4 Life". "Girls Fall Like Dominoes" became a top 20 hit in New Zealand, reaching number 13.
Volatile Times is the fourth studio album from IAMX. It was released on 18 March 2011 and the tracks on the album keep alive the cabaret-esque and dark electronic sound that Chris Corner has become known for. The track "Volatile Times" was featured on season 1 episode 5 of How to Get Away with Murder, both the US and instrumental versions of "I Salute You Christopher" on episode 11, as well as the US version of "Music People" on episode 14.

"Alligator" is the second single taken from Canadian rock duo Tegan and Sara's sixth studio album Sainthood (2009). It was originally released in the United Kingdom in October 2009, a day before the release of the album, as a digital download. In March 2010, the single was released 17 track remix album in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada as a digital download and 12" vinyl. The single charted at number 32 in the Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs.
"SuperLove" is a song by English singer Charli XCX, released as a single on 2 December 2013. Although the song was originally announced as the lead single from Charli's then-untitled second major-label studio album, it ultimately was not included on 2014's Sucker. The single reached number 62 on the UK Singles Chart, becoming Charli's first solo entry on the chart.
