Courtney Lynn Blades-Rogers is an American, former collegiate All-American, right-handed batting softball pitcher. She was a starting pitcher for two NCAA Division I teams: the Nicholls State Colonels and later the Southern Miss Golden Eagles. For her career she collected 151 wins and 1,773 strikeouts. She was awarded the Honda Sports Award Softball Player of the Year in 2000 and was recently named the #7 Greatest NCAA Pitcher of All-Time.
The Southeastern Louisiana Lions baseball team is a varsity intercollegiate athletic team of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana, United States. The team is a member of the Southland Conference, which is part of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I. Southeastern Louisiana's first baseball team was fielded in 1947. The team plays its home games at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field in Hammond, Louisiana. Starting in 2024, the Lions will be led by head coach Bobby Barbier.
The Central Arkansas Sugar Bears softball team represents the University of Central Arkansas, located in Conway, Arkansas. The Sugar Bears are a member of the ASUN Conference and participate in NCAA Division I college softball. The team is currently led by head coach David Kuhn and plays home games at Farris Field.

The 2024 Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions softball team represented Southeastern Louisiana University during the 2024 NCAA Division I softball season. The Lady Lions played their home games at North Oak Park in Hammond, LA and were led by ninth-year head coach Rick Fremin. They are members of the Southland Conference. They compiled a 47–15 overall record including a 17–7 record in conference play and a regular season second place finish. The Lady Lions won the Southland Conference tournament. Their tournament championship win was the Lady Lions's first in program history. Earning the conference's auto-bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I softball tournament, the team competed in the NCAA Division I tournament's Tuscaloosa regional. The team had a 2–2 record defeating 23rd ranked Clemson twice and losing to 14th ranked Alabama twice. Their season ended with a loss to Alabama in the regional finals round.
