Sphenotrochus is a genus of stony corals belonging to the family Turbinoliidae, [1] [2] and was first described in 1948 by Henri Milne-Edwards and Jules Haime. [3] [4]

The type species is the extinct Sphenotrochus crispus (Lamarck, 1816) † [3]
