Street Scene was a music festival that was held each summer in San Diego, California from 1984 to 2009. Street Scene was one of America's largest annual music festivals, growing to include over 70 musical acts covering different musical genres and styles on multiple stages.
Beginning in 1984, a San Diego native created Street Scene which consisted of two events the first year; one in May and the other in August.[1] The event was held on historic 5th Avenue, between J & K Streets, for the first few years, with two stages. In 1987, it grew to take up two blocks, but still with only two stages. The following year, Street Scene grew once again to include five stages over several blocks; the music now began to feature diverse genres including zydeco, blues, rock and alternative rock.
In 1995, Street Scene grew once again, into a music event that encompassed 3 days. The Taste of San Diego also added food and cultures from around the globe and tasty morsels for people of all ages to enjoy.
2009 was also a year that marked an incredible drop in attendance and put the organizers in great debt. This was due in part to the cancelling of the Beastie Boys as the premiere headliner as well as overall poor economic conditions. Because of the cancellation, they sold about half of what they had intended to (even after lowering the ticket prices to half of what they were originally). In May 2010 an announcement was released indicating that there would be no 2010 festival.

Wakarusa Music and Camping Festival was a four-day music festival held annually in early June from 2004 to 2015 at Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Arkansas. Named for the Wakarusa River, the festival was first held at Clinton State Park immediately outside of Lawrence, Kansas. It moved to its new location, just outside Fort Smith and Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2009. The festival is known for an eclectic mix of music and has featured artists like Grammy award winners the Black Keys, The Flaming Lips, Wilco, and Bela Fleck and the Flecktones. Activities other than music included disc golf, yoga, hiking, and swimming in the Mulberry River.
The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, commonly referred to as Voodoo or Voodoo Fest, was a multi-day music and arts festival held in City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. First started in 1999, it was last held in October 2019, after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, and canceled in 2022 without explanation.

The fourth Langerado music festival was once again held at Markham Park in Sunrise, Fl on March 11 and March 12, 2006. The fourth installment of this festival series expanded further, with several pre and post festival shows. On March 10, the festival kicked off with a separately ticketed event at the Markham Park grounds called the "Langerado Sound Check" and featured a handful of artists not performing on the actual two-day festival. Each evening on all three days of the Langerado weekend, multiple late-night shows took place at venues such as the Culture Room and the Revolution. The festival drew a reported 12,000 attendees each day.
The seventh Langerado Festival was scheduled to be held on March 6–8, 2009. The festival was planned to move to Bicentennial Park in Miami, Florida.
Slightly Stoopid is an American band based in the Ocean Beach neighborhood of San Diego, California, who describe their music as "a fusion of folk, rock, reggae and blues with hip-hop, funk, metal and punk." As a band, they have released thirteen albums, with their ninth studio album entitled Everyday Life, Everyday People on July 13, 2018. The band was originally signed by Bradley Nowell from the band Sublime to his label Skunk Records while still in high school.
The Hangout Music Festival is an annual three-day music festival held on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama.
