Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are a franchise cricket team based in Hyderabad, India, which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They were one of the eight teams that are competing in the 2015 Indian Premier League. This was their third outing in IPL. The team was being captained by David Warner [1] and coached by Tom Moody [2] with Muttiah Muralitharan as their bowling coach [3] and VVS Laxman as the mentor for this team.

The Sunrisers started their campaign against Chennai Super Kings on April 11, 2015, at Chennai on a losing note and failed to qualify for Play-Offs finishing 6th at the end of the tournament. David Warner won the Orange Cap by scoring 562 runs in this IPL. [4]

They appointed Muttiah Muralitharan as their bowling coach for 2015 season [3] [5]

ACA-VDCA Stadium which is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh is selected as the Secondary Home Ground for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It has a seating capacity of 38,000. Sunrisers Hyderabad played their first 3 home games at this ground. [6]

Players auction

The players auction for the 2015 Indian Premier League held on 16 February 2015. All eight franchises had participated in the auction. SRH has retained 13 players and released 11 players from the previous season. As a result of this retention the team had an auction purse of Rs 208.5 million. [10] Added 10 players to the team. [11] Later, there has been a replacement in the team with Bipul Sharma filling in for Laxmi Ratan Shukla. [12]

The 2020 season was the 13th season for the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). They were one of the eight teams that competed in the 2020 Indian Premier League. The franchise previously qualified for the IPL playoffs in 2011 and won the tournament in 2012 and 2014. The team was captained by Eoin Morgan with Brendon McCullum as the new team coach. The team finished 5th and could not qualify for the playoffs.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad are a franchise cricket team based in Hyderabad, Telangana, which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They were one of the eight teams to compete in the 2021 Indian Premier League, making their ninth appearance in all IPL tournaments. The team was coached by Trevor Bayliss with Brad Haddin as assistant coach, Muttiah Muralitharan as bowling coach and VVS Laxman as mentor.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are a franchise cricket team based in Hyderabad, Telangana, which plays in the Indian Premier League (IPL). They are one of the ten teams to compete in the 2022 Indian Premier League, making their tenth appearance in all IPL tournaments.

The 2024 season is the 12th season for the Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. They are one of the ten teams competing in the 2024 Indian Premier League.
