ETP Fest or ETP Festival was one of the biggest rock music festivals in South Korea founded by rock singer Seo Taiji. ETP stands for Eerie Taiji People.
Incheon Pentaport Rock Festival is a rock festival which is held annually in Incheon, South Korea for three days in August. Launched in 2006, it is considered one of the biggest live music events in South Korea. The festival covers various genres, but mainly rock music and electronic music. The name came from the five main themes of the festival: music, passion, environment friendly, DIY, and friendship.
Korean rock is rock music from South Korea. It has roots in American rock, which was imported to South Korea by U.S. soldiers fighting in the Korean War and stationing in U.S. military bases in South Korea after the war. Under the military administration in the 1970s, rock music and its subculture were classified as a depraved youth culture and restricted. After the Korean Fifth Republic, the censorship policies under the military government were abolished and rock music became a mainstream genre in South Korea until the end of the 1980s. Today, rock music is not the main genre in the music market in South Korea, but it still occupies a big portion of music consumption in the nation.

Ssamzie Sound Festival was an annual indie music festival held in South Korea from 1999-2014. The first version of the festival was held in Yonsei University, with 20 local bands performing. Summer Breeze was a rock festival, originally planned to be held annually in Seoul, South Korea for two days of early August. The inaugural festival was scheduled to take place at Seoul Olympic Stadium in Jamshil, South Korea in 2008. The festival was modeled after other urban music festivals such as Summersonic Festival of Japan, Lolapalooza of the United States, and Rock Am Ring of Germany. Summer Breeze covered various genres of music, but mainly focused on rock music. Summer Breeze Festival 2008 was cancelled due to low ticket sales.
The ISANGYUN Competition is an international music competition, held annually in Tongyeong, South Korea. It commemorates Isang Yun (1917–1995), a Korean composer who was born in Tongyeong and later settled in Germany. The competition was established in 2003 as the Gyeongnam International Music Competition, and renamed to ISANGYUN Competition in 2008. It consists of a three-year "cycle", where each year, or "edition", consists of a different instrument in the rotation: cello, piano, and violin.
