Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, known professionally as 21 Savage, is a British-American rapper based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in London and raised in Atlanta, he began his recording career in 2013 and released three independent mixtapes to regional acclaim. His breakout project—the collaborative extended play (EP) with record producer Metro Boomin titled Savage Mode (2016)—peaked at number 23 on the Billboard 200. Its lead singles, "X" and "No Heart" both peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Later that year, he saw further recognition for his guest appearance on Drake's single "Sneakin'". He then signed a recording contract with Epic Records in January 2017.

Destin Choice Route, better known by his stage name JID, is an American rapper, and singer-songwriter. Born and raised in Atlanta, he signed with J. Cole's Dreamville Records, an imprint of Interscope Records in 2017. He formed the musical collective Spillage Village with EarthGang in 2010, and later formed the hip hop group Zoink Gang with Smino, Buddy, and Guapdad 4000. His fluent rapping style and usage of wordplay has been highly acclaimed by several music critics.

"A Lot" is a song by British-American rapper 21 Savage. The audio of the song was released on December 20, 2018, a day ahead of the album's official release, via the rapper's YouTube account. It was sent to rhythmic and urban contemporary radio on January 8, 2019, as the lead single from his second studio album I Am > I Was.

It was sent to rhythmic contemporary radio as the fourth single from Post Malone's third studio album, Hollywood's Bleeding on September 17, 2019. The song was written by the artists, along with Billy Walsh and producer Louis Bell. The track became Malone's seventh number one and DaBaby's first on Billboard's Rhythmic Songs Chart in November 2019.

"Rapstar" is a song by American rapper Polo G. It was released through Columbia Records as the third single from his third studio album, Hall of Fame, on April 9, 2021. The song was produced by Synco, with social media star Einer Bankz performing the ukulele. On the song, Polo G harmonizes about his growing stardom, the downside of fame and the rewards of it. The single was well received by critics and became Polo G's first number one hit on the US Billboard Hot 100.

"Knife Talk" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake featuring American rappers 21 Savage and Project Pat. It was released on November 16, 2021, as the third single from Drake's sixth studio album Certified Lover Boy. The song was produced by Metro Boomin and Peter Lee Johnson.

"Enemy" is a song by American pop rock band Imagine Dragons and American rapper JID. It was released through Interscope Records and Kidinakorner on October 28, 2021, as the lead single of the soundtrack to the Netflix animated series Arcane, to which it also serves as the opening theme. The song was written by the artists alongside Justin Tranter and the producers Mattman & Robin. The song was also included on the band's fifth studio album Mercury – Acts 1 & 2 (2022). The song became JID's first song to reach the top 5 in the US, and became the band's first song to reach the top 5 since the 2017 song "Thunder". In 2023, for the 35th anniversary of Alternative Airplay – where "Enemy" charted for 54 weeks, of which 9 were spent at the top spot – Billboard ranked the song as the 14th-most successful in the chart's history.

It is their second collaboration, being released on February 11, 2022, one week after their own "Do We Have a Problem?". It was included on Minaj's first greatest hits album Queen Radio: Volume 1 (2022).

"Jimmy Cooks" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake featuring British rapper 21 Savage, released on June 17, 2022, as the final track from the former's seventh studio album Honestly, Nevermind, with the latter being the only guest appearance on the album.

"Rich Flex" is a song by Canadian rapper Drake and Atlanta-based rapper 21 Savage from their collaborative studio album Her Loss (2022). It was sent to US rhythmic radio on November 11, 2022, as the lead single from the album. The song interpolates "Savage" (2020) by Megan Thee Stallion, "24's" (2003) by T.I., and 21 Savage's own "Red Opps" (2016), as well as sampling "I Want You, Girl" (1973) by Sugar and "Nora's Transformation" (1973) by Charles Bernstein. The song spent its first three weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number two, blocked from reaching the top spot by Taylor Swift's "Anti-Hero" and peaked at number one on the Canadian Hot 100 chart where it became Drake's eleventh number one single. The song also topped the Billboard Global 200, becoming Drake's second and 21 Savage's first song to do so.
