Tafsir e Ashrafi [1] also known as Syed Al Tafasir [2] is a classical Sunni tafsir (Qur'anic exegesis) written by the 21st century Indian scholar Syed Mohammed Madni Ashraf. [3] [4] [5] It is recognised as one of the most popular exegeses of the Qur'an today due to its simple style and its conciseness. [6] [6] [7] It is ten volume in length, which was translated in Urdu and after later in English. [8] [9] [10]
Tafsir refers to exegesis, usually of the Quran. An author of a tafsir is a mufassir. A Quranic tafsir attempts to provide elucidation, explanation, interpretation, context or commentary for clear understanding and conviction of God's will.
Al-Mizan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an, more commonly known as Tafsir al-Mizan or simply Al-Mizan (الميزان), is a tafsir written by the Shia Muslim scholar and philosopher Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i (1892–1981).

Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi, was an Indian Muslim writer on, and exegete of the Qur'an. In addition to contributing an extensive commentary on the Qur’an in English, Daryabadi wrote also an independent Tafsir in Urdu published as Tafsir Majidi. He also authored the book Hakeem -ul- Ummat in 1950. He also authored a biography, Muhammad Ali Zati Diary, in 1943. He is highly influenced by Ashraf Ali Thanwi and Hussain Ahmad Madani.
Tafsīr al-Jalālayn is a classical Sunni interpretation (tafsir) of the Qur'an, composed first by Jalal ad-Din al-Maḥalli in 1459 and then completed after his passing by Jalal ad-Din as-Suyuti in 1505, thus its name, which means "Tafsir of the two Jalals". It is recognised as one of the most popular exegeses of the Qur'an today, due to its simple style and its conciseness, as it is only one volume in length.
Tafsir al-Mazhari is a 13th-century AH tafsir of the Qur'an, written by the Sunni Islamic scholar Qadi Thanaullah Panipati. The tafsir was published by Nadwatul Musannifeen.
