Tafsir refers to exegesis, usually of the Quran. An author of a tafsir is a mufassir. A Quranic tafsir attempts to provide elucidation, explanation, interpretation, context or commentary for clear understanding and conviction of God's will.
Al-Mizan fi Tafsir al-Qur'an, more commonly known as Tafsir al-Mizan or simply Al-Mizan (الميزان), is a tafsir written by the Shia Muslim scholar and philosopher Allamah Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i (1892–1981).
Tafsir al-Qurtubi is a 13th-century work of Qur'an exegesis by the classical scholar Al-Qurtubi. Tafsir al-Qurtubi is also known as Al-Jami'li-Ahkam or Al-Jami' li Ahkam al-Qur'an or Tafsir al-Jami' .

Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari was an Islamic scholar of Hanafi jurisprudence, Sufi, and Muslim leader. He is known for his magnum opus, Tafsir Zia ul Quran fi Tafsir ul Quran, meaning “The light of the Quran in the Exegesis of the Quran." It is commonly referred to as Diya ul Quran or Zia ul Quran. He also authored Zia un Nabi, or “Diya al-Nabi," Life of Prophet Muhammad, a detailed biography of Muhammad in seven volumes.
Maulana Abdul Majid Daryabadi, was an Indian Muslim writer on, and exegete of the Qur'an. In addition to contributing an extensive commentary on the Qur’an in English, Daryabadi wrote also an independent Tafsir in Urdu published as Tafsir Majidi. He also authored the book Hakeem -ul- Ummat in 1950. He also authored a biography, Muhammad Ali Zati Diary, in 1943. He is highly influenced by Ashraf Ali Thanwi and Hussain Ahmad Madani.
Tafsīr al-Jalālayn is a classical Sunni interpretation (tafsir) of the Qur'an, composed first by Jalal ad-Din al-Maḥalli in 1459 and then completed after his passing by Jalal ad-Din as-Suyuti in 1505, thus its name, which means "Tafsir of the two Jalals". It is recognised as one of the most popular exegeses of the Qur'an today, due to its simple style and its conciseness, as it is only one volume in length.
Tafsir al-Mazhari is a 13th-century AH tafsir of the Qur'an, written by the Sunni Islamic scholar Qadi Thanaullah Panipati. The tafsir was published by Nadwatul Musannifeen.
Al-Kashf wa-l-bayān ʿan tafsīr al-Qurʾān, also known as the Tafsir al-Thalabi, is a classical Sunni tafsir, or commentary on the Quran, by eleventh-century Islamic scholar Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Thalabi. It is composed of 10 volumes and it is over 3,425 pages.
Majma‘ al-Bayan fi-Tafsir al-Qur'an is a tafsir by the 12th century Imami scholar and author Shaykh Tabarsi.
Tafsir Nemooneh is a tafsir written by Naser Makarem Shirazi and other authors working under his supervision in 27 volumes. The commentators are said to have targeted the contemporary era and the related social issues.
Tafsir Zia ul Quran (1918–1998) is a Quranic exegesis (tafsir) written by Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari. He was a Sunni scholar specialized in the Hanafi fiqh. He also belonged to the Chishti Sufi order. The tafsir has been published in 5 volumes.

Tauzeeh Al-Qur'an Asan Tarjuma Quran is a three-volume tafsir (exegesis) of the Quran written by Pakistani Islamic scholar Mufti Taqi Usmani. The book was originally written in Urdu and has been translated into at least two languages, Bengali and Hindi.
Sheikh Ul Quran Maulana Ghulam Ullah Khan was a Pakistani Islamic scholar.
