Bengkalis Regency is a regency of Indonesia in Riau Province. The regency was originally established in 1956 and then included most of the northern part of the province, but on 4 October 1999 it was divided up, with most of the territory being split off to form the new Rokan Hilir Regency, Siak Regency and the city of Dumai. On 19 December 2008 a further five districts were removed to create the new Meranti Islands Regency, leaving eight districts in the Bengkalis Regency. These eight districts has increased since 2010 to eleven by the splitting of existing districts on the Sumatran mainland.
Nunukan Regency is a regency of North Kalimantan Province in Indonesia. It was created on 4 October 1999 from the northern districts of Bulungan Regency. Nunukan Regency shares international borders with the Malaysian states of Sabah to the north and Sarawak to the west, and inter-regency borders with Tana Tidung Regency and Malinau Regency to the south, as well as the coastal city of Tarakan in the east. The regency covers an area of 14,247.50 km2 and it had a population of 140,841 at the 2010 census and 199,090 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 208,303.
Kuantan Singingi is a regency (kabupaten) of Riau, Indonesia. It is located on the island of Sumatra. The regency was created on 4 October 1999 from what had been the western half of Indragiri Hulu Regency. It has an area of 7,656.03 km² and had a population of 292,116 at the 2010 Census and 334,943 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 345,850. The seat of the regency is the town of Teluk Kuantan.
South Hulu Sungai Regency is one of the regencies (kabupaten) in South Kalimantan province, Indonesia. It had an area of 1,804.94 km2, and a population of 212,485 at the 2010 Census and 228,006 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 232,212. North Hulu Sungai Regency is one of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It formerly covered a larger area in the north of the province, but on 25 February 2003 the eastern districts were split off to create a separate Balangan Regency. It now has an area of 907.49 km2, and had a population of 209,246 at the 2010 Census and 226,727 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 231,290. The capital of the regency is the town of Amuntai.
Kotabaru Regency is one of the eleven regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It consists of two parts; the smaller but more populated part comprises Laut Island, the largest island off the coast of Kalimantan, together with the smaller Sebuku Island off Laut Island's east coast and even smaller islands nearby; the larger but less populated part consists of districts on the mainland of Kalimantan. The regency as a whole has an area of 9,480.17 km2, and had a population of 290,142 at the 2010 Census and 325,622 at the 2020 Census. The official estimate as at mid 2022 was 334,158, of whom 178,660 were in the insular part and 155,498 in the mainland part of the regency. The regency seat is located at the large town of Kotabaru at the northern tip of Laut Island.

It has a land area of 27,263.10 km2 and a water area of 4,097 km2, geographically located between 1°18′40″S and 116°31′36″E. The population of the regency was 626,286 at the 2010 Census and 729,382 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 738,189. The town of Tenggarong is the capital of the regency.

The regency's administrative centre is at the town of Sarmi.

It covers an area of 7,730 km2, and it had a population of 230,316 at the 2010 Census and 275,452 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 280,065 . Before 2007, this regency was formerly named Pasir Regency.
North Barito Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which divide the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. It originally included much more of the northern part of the province, but on 10 April 2002 the larger northwestern part of the regency was split off to create a new Murung Raya Regency. Muara Teweh is the capital of North Barito Regency, which covers an area of 10,152.25 km2. The population of North Barito Regency was 121,573 at the 2010 Census and 154,812 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 160,235.
Kapuas Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which divide Central Kalimantan Province, on the island of Kalimantan, Indonesia. It formerly covered a wider area, but on 10 April 2002 two further regencies were cut out of its western districts, and the residual area is now 14,999 km.2 Its population was 329,646 at the 2010 Census and 410,446 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 423,210. The administrative centre is the town of Kuala Kapuas near the coast, but the largest town is Selat, which includes 8 of the regency's 15 urban kelurahan, and had 73,900 inhabitants in 2022.

It was created on 10 April 2002 from what were previously the eastern districts of East Kotawaringin Regency. The town of Kasongan is the capital of the Regency, which covers an area of 17,500 km2. The population of Katingan Regency was 146,439 at the 2010 Census and 162,222 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 163,989.
Pulang Pisau Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. It was created on 10 April 2002 from what were previously the southwest districts of Kapuas Regency. The town of Pulang Pisau is the capital of Pulang Pisau Regency. The population of Pulang Pisau Regency was 120,062 at the 2010 Census ; and 134,499 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 136,221.
Sukamara Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. It was created on 10 April 2002 from the former southwest part of West Kotawaringin Regency. The town of Sukamara is the capital of Sukamara Regency, which covers an area of 3,827 km2. The population of the Regency was 44,952 at the 2010 Census and 63,464 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 66,845.
Seruyan Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. It was created on 10 April 2002 from what were previously the western districts of East Kotawaringin Regency. The town of Kuala Pembuang in Seruyan Hilir District is the capital of Seruyan Regency. The population of the Regency was 139,931 at the 2010 Census and 162,906 at the 2020 census; the official estimate was at mid 2022 was 166,072.
Central Buton Regency is a new regency of Southeast Sulawesi established by separation from Buton Regency under Act No.15 of 2014, dated 23 July 2014. It covers an area of 837.16 km2 comprising the southern parts of Muna Island and Kabaena Island, together with several small offshore islands adjacent to the two main islands, with no territory located on Buton Island. It had a population of 86,112 at the 2010 Census and 114,773 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 118,904. The administrative centre lies at Labungkari in Lakudo District.
