Balangan Regency is one of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It was created on 25 February 2003 from what were previously the eastern districts of North Hulu Sungai Regency. It now covers an area of 1,828.51 km2, and had a population of 112,430 at the 2010 Census [2] and 130,355 at the 2020 Census; [3] the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 134,512, consisting of 67,958 males and 66,554 females. [1] The capital is Paringin. Motto: "Sanggam" (Banjarese), also an acronym for "Sanggup Bagawi Gasan Masyarakat" (Banjarese="Willing To Work for the Sake of the People").
Balangan Regency consists of eight districts (kecamatan), tabulated below with their areas and population totals from the 2010 Census, [2] and 2020 Census, [3] together with the official estimates for mid-2022. [1] The table also includes the location of the district administrative centres, the number of administrative villages in each district (a total of 154 rural desa and 3 urban kelurahan), and its postal codes.

Bondowoso Regency is a landlocked regency in East Java, Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,518.77 km2, and had a population of 736,772 at the 2010 Census and 776,151 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 781,417. The most common languages are Madurese and Javanese, although Madurese is the majority. The nearest large city is Surabaya, approximately five hour's drive away.

Sampang Regency is a regency of East Java province, Indonesia. It is situated on Madura Island, bordering on Pamekasan Regency to the east, the Java Sea to the north, Bangkalan Regency to the west, and Madura Strait to the south. It covers an area of 1,233.3 km2, and had a population of at the 2010 census 877,772 and at the 2020 census 969,694; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 984,162 - comprising 488,673 males and 495,489 females. The administrative centre is the port of Sampang, on the south coast of Madura.
Sukoharjo Regency is a regency in the Central Java province in Indonesia. It covers an area of 493.23 km2 and had a population of 824,238 at the 2010 Census and 907,587 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 916,627. Its capital is Sukoharjo, about 10 km south of Surakarta. This regency is bordered by the city of Surakarta in the north, Karanganyar Regency in the east, Wonogiri Regency and Yogyakarta in the south as well as Klaten Regency in the west. The regency is part of the metropolitan zone of Surakarta, which is known as Subosukawonosraten.
Banjar Regency is one of the eleven regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan; the capital is Martapura. It covers an area of 4,668.5 km2, and had a population of 506,839 at the 2010 Census, and 565,635 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 579,910. It lies immediately to the east of the city of Banjarmasin and north of the city of Banjarbaru, which it surrounds on the latter's west, north and east sides; the regency capital of Martapura is immediately north of Banjarbaru, of which it is effectively an extension. This regency is noted for its diamond mines and its people's religiosity. Motto: "Barakat" (Banjarese:"Blessing").
North Hulu Sungai Regency is one of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It was created on 26 June 1959 from the trifurcation of the original Hulu Sungai Regency and formerly covered a much larger area in the north of the province, but on 14 July 1965 the northern districts were split off to create a separate Tabalong Regency, and on 25 February 2003 the eastern districts were split off to create a separate Balangan Regency. It now has an area of 907.49 km2, and had a population of 209,246 at the 2010 Census and 226,727 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 231,290. The capital of the regency is the town of Amuntai.
Tabalong Regency is the most northerly of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan, on Borneo Island. It was created on 14 July 1965 by splitting off the northern districts of North Hulu Sungai Regency. It has an area of 3,553.36 km2, and had a population at the 2010 Census of 218,620 and 253,305 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as of mid-2022 was 261,353. The administrative capital is the town of Tanjung. Motto: "Saraba Kawa" (Banjarese).
Tanah Laut Regency is one of the regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. It encompasses the southernmost part of Kalimantan (Borneo). The area is 3,631.35 km2, and the population was 296,333 at the 2010 Census and 348,966 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 361,044. The capital is the town of Pelaihari. Motto: "Tuntung Pandang" (Banjarese). Tuntung Pandang have meaning as "nice to see until forever"
Tapin Regency is one of regencies in the Indonesian province of South Kalimantan. The regency was created on 14 July 1965 by splitting off the districts which had until then comprised the southern part of South Hulu Sungai Regency. The regency's motto is "Ruhui Rahayu", and this is also shared by another Indonesian province. It covers an area of 2,174.95 km2 and had a population of 167,877 at the 2010 Census and 189,475 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 194,628. The administrative centre of the regency is at the town of Rantau.
West Kutai Regency is a regency (kabupaten) in the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan. It previously covered a much greater area, with a population of 165,091 at the 2010 Census, but in December 2012 the five northernmost districts were split off to form a new Mahakam Ulu Regency; the residual area of 20,384.6 km2 had a population of 140,097 at the 2010 Census, and 165,938 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 172,288. The town of Sendawar is the administrative capital.
East Kutai Regency is a regency of East Kalimantan province, Indonesia. It has an area of 35,747.50 km2 and had a population of 253,904 at the 2010 census and 434,459 at the 2020 census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 425,613. The town of Sangatta is the capital of the regency.
Kediri Regency is a regency (kabupaten) located in East Java province, Indonesia. It is one of two 'Daerah Tingkat II' that has the name 'Kediri'. Indralaya is the regency seat. The regency borders Palembang City and Muara Enim Regency to the north, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency to the east, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and East Ogan Komering Ulu Regency to the south, and Muara Enim Regency to the west.
Pulang Pisau Regency is one of the thirteen regencies which comprise the Central Kalimantan Province on the island of Kalimantan (Borneo), Indonesia. It was created on 10 April 2002 from what were previously the southwest districts of Kapuas Regency. The town of Pulang Pisau is the capital of Pulang Pisau Regency. The population of Pulang Pisau Regency was 120,062 at the 2010 Census ; and 134,499 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2022 was 136,221.
Lumajang Regency is a Regency (kabupaten) located in the East Java province of Indonesia. It covers an area of 1,790.90 sq. km, and had a population of 1,006,458 at the 2010 Census and 1,119,251 at the 2020 Census. The mid 2022 official estimate as originally stated to be 1,137,230, but was revised down to 1,097,504. The regency shares its land borders with Jember Regency, Probolinggo Regency, and Malang Regency, while it borders the Indian Ocean to the south.
