The ReVe Festival: Day 2 (occasionally referred as Day 2) is the fourth special extended play and the eleventh overall by South Korean girl group Red Velvet, released on August 20, 2019, through SM Entertainment. The EP was announced on August 12, and it became available to pre-order the same day. [2] This EP is the second release of The ReVe Festival trilogy, with six tracks feature in the EP including the EP's single "Umpah Umpah", which also serves as the second single from The ReVe Festival trilogy.

The EP was announced through social media on August 11, 2019, with a teaser image of pink and sandy desert with the logo The ReVe Festival: Day 2. [3]

Commercial performance

The ReVe Festival: Day 2 was a commercial success, debuted atop of Gaon Weekly Album Chart, become the group's tenth number one album on the chart, extended Red Velvet's record as the girl group with most number one albums on the chart. The CD version of the EP debuted on the monthly chart of Gaon Album Chart with 107,554 copies being sold, [4] became the fourth best-selling album of the month August 2019, and also placing at the fifty-first for the year, with 111,654 copies sold. [5] The EP also peaked at number six on the Billboard World Albums Chart.

Ice Cream Cake is the debut Korean extended play by the South Korean girl group Red Velvet. It was released digitally on March 17, 2015, and physically on March 18 by SM Entertainment and distributed by Dreamus, marking the group's first proper release since their initial debut in August 2014 and their first release as a quintet since the addition of the group's fifth member Yeri. The extended play was released in two physical versions, named after the two singles and contained six tracks which introduced both the group's "Red" and "Velvet" sonic concept. The duality was further demonstrated by its two singles, "Automatic" and "Ice Cream Cake", with the latter becoming the group's breakthrough commercial success. Primarily an EDM-influenced electropop track that resembles a "colorful parade" and showcases an extravagant soundscape, the song was composed by production duo Caesar & Loui, Ollipop and Hayley Aitken with Korean lyrics written by lyricist Lee Seu-ran, which tells the listeners to "unfold a dream" that is "held deeply" in their heart. As the third and final release of the group's trilogy The ReVe Festival, the set contains all twelve tracks taken from two previous extended plays The ReVe Festival: Day 1 and The ReVe Festival: Day 2. With SM founder Lee Soo-man serving as the executive producer, Finale includes four new songs—"Psycho", "In & Out", "Remember Forever", and a previously unreleased "La Rouge", with the first being the lead single for the album. "Psycho" is an R&B track that incorporates elements of pop, trap and future bass, and is about a couple who are in a complicated romantic relationship. A gothic-themed music video accompanied the single's digital release on December 23, 2019.

<i>Itz Me</i> 2020 EP by Itzy

It'z Me is the second Korean extended play by the South Korean girl group Itzy released on March 9, 2020, by JYP Entertainment. It features 7 tracks, including "Wannabe", the lead single from the EP. The physical release is available in three versions: IT'z, ME and WANNABE. It is their first Korean material since the release of It'z Icy in July 2019. It'z Me features a collaboration with Dutch DJ and electronic music producer Oliver Heldens. It was produced by Galactika, Oak Felder, Oliver Heldens, earattack, Shim Eunji, Collapsedone, Jin by Jin, SOPHIE and KASS. Musically, it is a K-pop record that contains influences of dance, hip hop and rock.
