The third season of The Voice , the Australian reality talent show, premiered on 4 May 2014 and concluded on 21 July 2014 with Anja Nissen being crowned the winner. [1] [2] Both Kylie Minogue and will.i.am joined the show this season (replacing Delta Goodrem and Seal, respectively) but left at the end of the season.

Anja Nissen Australian singer

Anja Nissen, sometimes known as simply Anja, is a Danish-Australian singer, songwriter, dancer and actress. She was the winner of the third series of The Voice Australia. Following her win, Nissen was signed to Universal Music Group and lists her influences as Patti LaBelle, Aretha Franklin, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, Toni Braxton and Stevie Wonder. In 2015, Nissen was the support act for Olly Murs on his Australian Never Been Better tour.

Kylie Minogue Australian-British singer, recording artist, songwriter and actress

Kylie Ann Minogue, also known simply as Kylie, is an Australian-British singer and actress. She achieved recognition starring in the Australian soap opera Neighbours, where she played tomboy mechanic Charlene Robinson. Appearing in the series for two years, Minogue's character married Scott Robinson in an episode viewed by nearly 20 million people in the United Kingdom, making it one of the most watched Australian TV episodes ever. Since then, Minogue has been a recording artist and has achieved commercial success and critical acclaim in the entertainment industry. Minogue has been recognised with several honorific nicknames, most notably the "Princess of Pop." She is recognised as the highest-selling Australian artist of all time by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA).

The song was written by Jonas Saeed, Niclas Kings, Luciana Caporaso, Nick Clow and Sabi, Jonas Saeed & Niclas Kings also serving as the producer. The song peaked at number 11 on the ARIA Singles Chart and at number 3 on the Australia Dance chart. "Warrior" was certified double platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association for sales of 140,000 copies. Coldplay British pop band

Coldplay are a British rock band formed in London in 1996. The four members, lead singer and pianist Chris Martin, lead guitarist Jonny Buckland, bassist Guy Berryman, and drummer Will Champion were at University College London, and came together from 1996 to 1998, during which time the band changed names from Pectoralz, to Starfish, then Coldplay. Creative director and former manager Phil Harvey is often referred to as the fifth member by the band. They recorded and released two EPs: Safety in 1998 and The Blue Room in 1999. It was recorded at The Bakery and The Beehive in North London, England.

It is unrelated to the song "Love at First Sight" from Minogue's debut album Kylie. "Love at First Sight" is a disco song which describes the singer falling and believing in love at first sight. The song was released as the third single, and the second North American single from Fever on 10 June 2002.

The first season of the show premiered on Network Ten on 6 February 2005. Ten dropped The X Factor after the first season due to poor ratings. In 2010, the Seven Network won the rights to the show, and a second season went into production. The X Factor was renewed after the highly successful Australian Idol was no longer broadcast on Network Ten. The X Factor was produced by FremantleMedia Australia, and was broadcast on the Seven Network in Australia and on TV3 in New Zealand. The program was cancelled after its eighth season in 2016.

<i>The Voice</i> (Australian season 1) season of the Australian television series

The first season of The Voice, the Australian reality talent show, premiered on 15 April 2012 and concluded on 18 June 2012, with Karise Eden being crowned as the winner. This was the first and only season to have Keith Urban as a coach.

Luke Jacobz returned as host, while Ronan Keating, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Dannii Minogue and Redfoo returned as judges. Comedy duo Luke & Wyatt joined the sixth season as the hosts of the online spin-off show The Fan Factor. The winner was Marlisa Punzalan and her winner's single "Stand by You" was released after the final. Punzalan became the youngest winner of the show at 15 years old and was the first contestant from the Girls category to do so. She was mentored by Keating, who won as mentor for the second time after previously mentoring season two winner Altiyan Childs in 2010.

The Voice Kids is a former Australian television talent show that premiered on the Nine Network on 22 June 2014. It featured Delta Goodrem, Mel B and The Madden Brothers as the coaches.

Australia's Got Talent is an Australian reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. Nine announced that the show would be returning in 2016 for an eighth season. It is the second season to air on Nine after it was axed in 2013. Auditions are open for September and October 2015. On 28 October 2015, it was announced that Halliwell, French, Timomatic and Sandilands have been replaced with a new panel of judges, they are Kelly Osbourne, Ian "Dicko" Dickson, Sophie Monk and Eddie Perfect. The winner was Isaiah Firebrace and his winner's single "It's Gotta Be You" was released after the final. He was mentored by Lambert, who won as mentor for the first time.

The fifth season of The Voice began on 1 May 2016. Jessie J, Delta Goodrem and The Madden Brothers returned as coaches with Ronan Keating replacing Ricky Martin. Sonia Kruger became solo host of the season after Darren McMullen left the series. Alfie Arcuri from Team Delta won the competition against Adam Ladell, also from Team Delta, who finished as runner-up, while Tash Lockhart and Ellen Reed finished in third and fourth place, respectively.

The fourth season of Australian Survivor is a television series based on the international reality game show franchise Survivor. The first season of Bachelor in Paradise Australia premiered on 25 March 2018. Osher Günsberg reprised his role from The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette Australia as the host of the show.

The seventh season of The Voice began airing on 15 April 2018, although it was originally scheduled to debut on 16 April 2018. The coaching line-up consisted of returning coaches Delta Goodrem, returning for her sixth season, Boy George and Kelly Rowland, both returning for their second, and new addition Joe Jonas, replacing Seal. Sam Perry from Team Kelly won the competition on June 17, 2018, marking Rowland's first win as a coach.
