Tres was a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 667 and an area of 14.5 square kilometres (5.6 sq mi). [1] It was merged with Coredo, Smarano, Taio and Vervò on January 1, 2015, to form a new municipality, Predaia. [2]
