Triphysa is a genus of butterflies in the family Nymphalidae. The genus contains three species. The genus is sometimes included in Coenonympha .
Philipp Christoph Zeller was a German entomologist.
The Acrolepiidae are a family of moths known as false diamondback moths. In modern classifications, they are often treated as a subfamily (Acrolepiinae) of the family Glyphipterigidae.
The Adelidae or fairy longhorn moths are a family of monotrysian moths in the lepidopteran infraorder Heteroneura. The family was first described by Charles Théophile Bruand d'Uzelle in 1851. Most species have at least partially metallic, patterned coloration and are diurnal, sometimes swarming around the tips of branches with an undulating flight. Others are crepuscular and have a drab coloration. Fairy longhorn moths have a wingspan of 4–28 millimeters, and males often have especially long antennae, 1–3 times as long as the forewing.
Argyresthia is a genus of moths in the family Argyresthiidae, previously treated as subfamily Argyresthiinae in the family Yponomeutidae.
Anacampsis is a worldwide genus of moth with most found in the nearctic and neotropical regions. It is in the family Gelechiidae. The larvae feed on a range of deciduous trees and shrubs in a rolled or folded leaf, or spun shoot.
Bryotropha is a genus of the twirler moth family (Gelechiidae). Among these, it is placed in the tribe Anomologini of subfamily Gelechiinae; the tribe was formerly considered a distinct subfamily Anomologinae.
Eulamprotes is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae.
Isophrictis is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae.
Megacraspedus is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae, found primarily in the Palearctic.
Metzneria is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae, described by Philipp Christoph Zeller in 1839.
Monochroa is a genus of moths in the family Gelechiidae.
Ocnogyna is a genus of moths in the family Erebidae from western Eurasia. The genus was erected by Julius Lederer in 1853. One aberrant species, Ocnogyna parasita, has females with non-functional wings, and because of this was formerly placed in its own genus Somatrichia, but is now in Ocnogyna.
Acrolepiopsis is a genus of moths in the family Acrolepiidae.
Alabonia is a genus of gelechioid moths. Here, it is placed within the subfamily Oecophorinae of the concealer moth family (Oecophoridae). Alternatively it has been placed in the Elachistidae or Depressariinae together with its presumed closest relatives. It has also been proposed to separate Alabonia and closely related genera as a subfamily Enicostominae, but this has generally not been followed by recent authors regardless of where they placed the present genus.
Elachista is a genus of gelechioid moths described by Georg Friedrich Treitschke in 1833. It is the type genus of the grass-miner moth family (Elachistidae). This family is sometimes circumscribed very loosely, including for example the Agonoxenidae and Ethmiidae which seem to be quite distinct among the Gelechioidea, as well as other lineages which are widely held to be closer to Oecophora than to Elachista and are thus placed in the concealer moth family Oecophoridae here.
Phyllonorycter is a genus of moths in the family Gracillariidae.
Parornix is a genus of moths in the family Gracillariidae.
Dialectica is a genus of 22 moth species in the family Gracillariidae.
Adela is a genus of the fairy longhorn moth family (Adelidae). Among these, it belongs to subfamily Adelinae.
Agonopterix is a moth genus of the superfamily Gelechioidea. It is placed in the family Depressariidae, which was often – particularly in older treatments – considered a subfamily of the Oecophoridae or included in the Elachistidae.
