Galebekwe Virginia Tsotso Tlhapi (born 9 October 1979) is a South African politician who currently serves as the MEC for Arts,Culture,Sports and Recreation,in office since October 2024. She previously held the portfolio from May 2019 until November 2022 and served as the MEC for Economic Development,Environment,Conservation and Tourism in the North West from November 2022 until June 2024. She is a member of the North West Provincial Legislature for the African National Congress.
Tlhapi is a member of the African National Congress and a former member of the African National Congress Youth League. She is the former acting chairperson of the ANC Youth League in the North West,a former member of the regional executive committee of the ANC Youth League in the Bojanala region,and a former member of the mayoral committee for Local Economic Development in the Bojanala District Municipality. Tlhapi was sworn in as a member of the North West Provincial Legislature on 2 August 2016. [2]
Following the 2019 national and provincial elections,she was appointed as the Member of the Executive Council for Arts,Culture,Sports and Recreation in the North West Provincial Government by premier Job Mokgoro. [3] [4] [5]
On 22 November 2022,Tlhapi was appointed MEC for Economic Development,Environment,Conservation and Tourism. [6] She served until June 2024,when Bitsa Lenkopane was appointed to the position by the newly elected premier Lazarus Mokgosi. [7] In October 2024,Tlhapi returned to the Executive Council in October 2024 as the MEC for Arts,Culture,Sports and Recreation. [8]

Previously,she had served as the MEC for Economic Development,Environment,Conservation and Tourism from May 2019 to November 2022 and as the MEC for Arts,Culture and Recreation from November 2022 until June 2024. Mosenogi also served as the deputy secretary-general of the African National Congress Youth League from 2011 until 2013.
Boitumelo Theodora Moiloa is a South African politician from the North West who served as the MEC for Social Development from May 2019 until May 2024. She was sworn in as a Member of the North West Provincial Legislature in August 2013. Moiloa is a member of both the African National Congress and the South African Communist Party.

Motlalepula Ziphora Rosho is a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress,she was elected deputy speaker of the North West Provincial Legislature in 2010. In 2012 she was appointed as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Economic Development,Environment,Conservation and Tourism in the North West Provincial Government. Rosho was discharged from the executive council in 2014 and then served in the provincial legislature as a committee chairperson until December 2018,when she returned to the executive as MEC for Local Government and Human Settlement. Rosho was appointed as MEC for Finance after the 2019 elections. After the 2024 election,she became the chief whip of the house in the legislature.
Patrick Dumile Nono Maloyi is a South African politician who served as the Member of the Executive Council (MEC) for Human Settlement,Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs in the North West province from November 2022 until June 2024. In August 2022,he was elected Provincial Chairperson of the African National Congress (ANC) in the North West,a position he formerly held from 2008 to 2009.
