Tyler/Vernon station is a DART light rail station in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas. Located just southwest of the intersection of Tyler Street and Lebanon Avenue, the station opened on June 14, 1996 and lies on the Red Line. [1]
The station serves nearby residential and commercial areas, including Elmwood, Polk Vernon, Ruthmeade Place, and Tyler Station, an adaptive reuse project located in the adjacent former Dixie Wax Cup factory. [2]
Originally there was no DART parking lot at this station (making it one of the few stations with no parking facilities) but a small pay parking lot, nestled between houses in the mainly residential area, was adjacent to the station. However, this small lot is now part of the station facility and no longer charges for parking.
Parker Road station is an intermodal transit facility in Plano, Texas. The station is located near North Central Expressway (US 75) between Parker Road and Park Boulevard. Operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit, the station services DART light rail, four bus routes, and five on-demand service zones.
