It operates buses, light rail, commuter rail, and high-occupancy vehicle lanes in Dallas and twelve of its suburbs. In 2023, the system had a ridership of 50,463,300, or about 157,900 per weekday as of the first quarter of 2024.

Arapaho Center station is an intermodal public transit station in Richardson, Texas. Operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit, the station services DART's Red Line and three bus routes. During peak periods, the station also services the Orange Line. The facility is DART's main bus transfer center in Richardson and includes an indoor waiting area.
LBJ/Central station is a DART Light Rail station in Dallas, Texas that serves the Red Line and Orange Line. During non-peak hours, it serves as the eastern terminus of the Orange Line.

It opened on December 30, 1996, and serves downtown Irving, including the Irving Heritage District and the Irving Civic Center, which is two blocks west of the station. This station is also served by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).

The station opened in July 2012 and serves the Irving Convention Center and Las Colinas Urban Center. It briefly served as the Orange Line terminus until the North Lake College and Belt Line stations opened in December 2012.
Hidden Ridge station is a DART Light Rail station located in the Las Colinas development of Irving, Texas. The station serves the Orange Line. The station is located at the intersection of Meadow Creek Drive and Green Park Drive and is named for the nearby Hidden Ridge development.

Northwest Plano Park & Ride is a bus-only park and ride station in Plano, Texas. The station is located on the western side of Dallas North Tollway in Plano's Legacy Park neighborhood. The station is operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit and is the northernmost facility in the DART system. Unlike most DART transit centers, the lot does not have an air-conditioned waiting area.
