Ulysses Jenkins (born 1946, [1] Los Angeles [2] ) is an American performance and video artist.

Jenkins attended Southern University and Otis Art Institute. [3]

In 2021 the retrospective exhibition Ulysses Jenkins: Without Your Interpretation was held at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia. [4] It traveled to the Hammer Museum at UCLA. [5] [6] Jenkins's work was included in the 2025 exhibition Photography and the Black Arts Movement, 1955–1985 at the National Gallery of Art. [7]

His work is in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art, [8]
