Fort Monroe is a former military installation in Hampton, Virginia, at Old Point Comfort, the southern tip of the Virginia Peninsula, United States. It is currently managed by partnership between the Fort Monroe Authority for the Commonwealth of Virginia, the National Park Service, and the city of Hampton as the Fort Monroe National Monument. Along with Fort Wool, Fort Monroe originally guarded the navigation channel between the Chesapeake Bay and Hampton Roads—the natural roadstead at the confluence of the Elizabeth, the Nansemond and the James rivers.
The U.S. Custom House or U.S. Customhouse is the custom house in Charleston, South Carolina. Construction began in 1852, but was interrupted in 1859 due to costs and the possibility of South Carolina's secession from the Union. After the Civil War, construction was restarted in 1870 and completed in 1879. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 9, 1974. It is also a contributing property of the Charleston Historic District.
The United States Post Office and Courthouse is a courthouse of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, located in New Bern, North Carolina. The building was completed in 1935, and was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, as a contributing building within the New Bern Historic District, and was individually listed in 2018.
Rochester City Hall is a historic government building in Rochester in Monroe County, New York. Also known as the Federal Building and Old Post Office, the building was originally built for use by the federal government. It is a four-story, Richardsonian Romanesque style structure with an inner court and tower. It was built between 1885 and 1889 of heavy brown sandstone with a metal skeleton. It was expanded in 1893 and in 1907. The building was designed in part by architect Harvey Ellis under the Office of the Supervising Architect Mifflin E. Bell. The building has served as the City Hall since the 1970s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Built in 1933, it is one of the more architecturally sophisticated and imposing federal buildings built in New Hampshire in the 20th century. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
The U.S. Post Office and Courthouse, also known as Statesville City Hall, is a historic post office and courthouse building located at Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina. It was designed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style by Willoughby J. Edbrooke and built in 1891. It is a rectangular 2 1/2-story structure, seven bays wide, and three bays deep. It is constructed of red brick and sandstone. The building has a two-story corner tower, one-story entrance pavilion with central arched recessed entrance, and a tall hip roof.
The Charles R. Jonas Federal Building, also known as the United States Post Office and Courthouse, is an historic structure located at 401 West Trade Street, in Charlotte, North Carolina, which has served at various times as a courthouse of the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, and a United States post office. Designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect under James A. Wetmore, it was completed in 1915; the building was renamed in honor of long-serving North Carolina Congressman Charles R. Jonas, and was transferred to the city in exchange for land in the fall of 2005, and has been leased back to the federal government for continued use.

It is a two-story rectangular building of cream brick with limestone trim in a Classical / Colonial Revival style. Five central bays of the front facade make up a slightly projecting frontispiece defined by an arcade of six colossal stone pilasters with Greek corinthian order capitals.
Franklin-Penland House, also known as Theodore C. Franklin House, Stokes Penland House, and Linville Falls Post Office, is a historic home located at Linville Falls, Burke County, North Carolina. It was built about 1883, and is a two-story, three-bay, frame I-house with a two-story rear ell. It features a full-width, attached two-tiered shed roof porch added about 1915. Also on the property is the former U.S. Post Office, Linville Falls, N.C., building. The one-room front gable frame building was built in 1907 and housed the Linville Falls post office until 1925.
U.S. Post Office is a historic post office building located at Fayetteville, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built between 1909 and 1911, and is a one-story, five-bay, Classical Revival-style brick building. A wing was added in 1935. It housed a post office into the 1960s, after which it was used as a branch library.
Cana Store and Post Office is a historic general store and post office building located near Mocksville, Davie County, North Carolina. It was built about 1875, and is a two-story, three-bay, frame building with a gable roof. The front facade features a broad hip-roofed frame canopy added in the 1930s that serves as a porte-cochere. Also on the property is a contributing one-story woodshed built in the 1930s. The building housed a post office until 1954 and a general store until 1965.
The Belmont City Hall, also known as the Former United States Post Office, is a historic post office building located in Belmont, Gaston County, North Carolina. It was designed by the Treasury Department's Office of the Supervising Architect under the direction of Louis A. Simon, and built in 1939. It is a one-story, five bay Colonial Revival-style brick building. At the rear is a stepped-back rectangular secondary block and loading dock. It housed the Belmont post office until 1970, then was converted for use as the Belmont City Hall in 1973.
The former US Post Office is a historic post office building located at Smithfield, Johnston County, North Carolina. It was designed by the Office of the Supervising Architect and built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration. It is a two-story, five-bay, rectangular brick building in the Colonial Revival style. It consists of three distinct sections: the two-story front block; a one-story rectangular center block; and a two-level rear block. The front facade features fluted Ionic order pilasters rising to a frieze supporting a broken pediment. The building housed federal government offices until 1990. The building was renovated in 1991 to house law offices.

It is a two-story, five-bay, Florintine Renaissance style stuccoed brick building on a limestone base. It has a low hip roof of terra cotta tile with overhanging eaves. The front facade features a three-bay loggia formed by arches with voluted keystones, springing from Tuscan order columns. This building served as the main post office for Greenville until 1969. It currently serves as a U.S. Courthouse.

The building was occupied by the Rockingham Post Office until 1977 when it was purchased by Richmond County from the United States Postal Service.
