Vector Sport is a British sports car racing team currently competing in the European Le Mans Series. Founded in 2021 by Gary Holland, a former team manager at Jota Sport and Dragon Racing, the Silverstone-based outfit has focused its on-track operations on the LMP2 class, entering the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2022 and 2023. At the end of 2022, Vector agreed a technical partnership to run the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 6 LMH-C in the Le Mans Hypercar category in 2024. [3] However, the teams split amidst alleged contract breaches on the part of Isotta Fraschini, who later partnered with Duqueine Team. [4]

Isotta Fraschini is an Italian luxury car manufacturer, also producing trucks, as well as engines for marine and aviation use. Founded in Milan, Italy, in 1900 by Cesare Isotta and the brothers Vincenzo, Antonio, and Oreste Fraschini, in 1955 it was merged with engine manufacturer Breda Motori and renamed F.A. Isotta Fraschini e Motori Breda.
The FIA World Endurance Championship, abbreviated as WEC, is an auto racing world championship organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The series supersedes the ACO's former Intercontinental Le Mans Cup which began in 2010 and is the first endurance series of world championship status since the demise of the World Sportscar Championship at the end of 1992. The World Endurance Championship name was previously used by the FIA from 1981 to 1985.

Carl Wattana Bennett is a Thai-American racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Isotta Fraschini and the European Le Mans Series for Cool Racing. Having raced in various Formula 4 series as well as Eurocup-3, Bennett switched to endurance racing in 2023, achieving an overall podium in the Asian Le Mans Series in LMP2 before progressing to Hypercar, the top class of WEC.
Duqueine Team, formerly known as Duqueine Engineering, is a French sports car racing team founded in 2014. As well as competing in the European Le Mans Series in LMP2, the team operates Isotta Fraschini's Hypercar entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship. It is also active as a constructor under the Duqueine Automotive banner, notably creating the Duqueine D-08 LMP3 prototype after buying out Norma Auto Concept in 2017.
