The 2024 4 Hours of Imola was an endurance sportscar racing event held between 5 and 7 July 2024, as the third round of the 2024 European Le Mans Series season.
The pre-event entry list was released on 26 June 2024 and consisted of 43 entries between 4 categories - 14 in LMP2, 8 in LMP2 Pro/Am, 10 in LMP3 and 11 in LMGT3. [1] [2]
Paul-Loup Chatin replaced Ritomo Miyata in the No. 37 COOL Racing. Miyata could not compete in this round due to his FIA F2 commitments. [1] [2] The other change in the No. 47 was Carl Bennett who had replaced Alex García. [1] Ferdinand Habsburg drove in the No. 47 COOL Racing for the first time this season after missing previous rounds due to an injury. Mathias Beche Aussel is a Swiss-French professional racing driver who currently competes in the European Le Mans Series for Richard Mille by TDS. He is a former ELMS champion in the LMP2 class, as well as an LMP1-L champion and overall race winner in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Rebellion Racing.
The 2013 3 Hours of Red Bull Ring was an auto racing event held at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Styria, Austria on 19–20 July 2013. It was the third round of the 2013 European Le Mans Series season, and the series' first visit to the Red Bull Ring. Thiriet by TDS Racing, with drivers Pierre Thiriet and Mathias Beche, won the race over Signatech Alpine, while the LMPC category was led by Paul-Loup Chatin and Gary Hirsch. Paul-Loup Chatin is a French professional racing driver. He has had notable successes within the LMP2 class, winning the European Le Mans Series in 2014 and 2019, as well as pole positions at the 2018 and 2023 iterations of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Other achievements include a class victory at the 2021 24 Hours of Daytona and the LMP2 title in the 2023 IMSA SportsCar Championship.
