Violator: The Album, V2.0 is the second and final installment in the Violator hip hop compilations series. It was released on July 24, 2001 through Violator/Loud Records as a sequel to 1999's Violator: The Album . Production was handled by several record producers, including Scott Storch, Bink!, Bryce Wilson, Irv Gotti, Just Blaze, 7 Aurelius, and Eric Nicks, who also served as executive producer together with Chris Lighty. It features guest appearances by the likes of JoJo Pellegrino, Remy Ma, Capone-N-Noreaga, Butch Cassidy, Mobb Deep, Big Noyd, CeeLo Green, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Jadakiss, Kurupt, Memphis Bleek, Missy Elliott, Rah Digga, Spliff Star and Styles P among others. The album debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200 and number 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums.

The album was supported with two singles: The Neptunes-produced "What It Is" performed by Busta Rhymes & Kelis, which later was included in Genesis , and Swizz Beatz-produced "Put Your Hands Up" performed by LL Cool J, which peaked at #50 on the Hot Rap Songs.

Come Home With Me is the third studio album by American rapper Cam'ron. Roosevelt Harrell III professionally known as Bink is an American hip hop producer from Norfolk, Virginia, who is noted for his work with Roc-A-Fella Records artists. His most high-profile work has been Jay-Z's critically acclaimed album The Blueprint, for which he produced three tracks, including the first and last tracks on the album. He is sometimes credited as Bink! or Bink Dog. In 2011, Bink and American-reggae artist Atiba finished a collaborative album titled Foreigner. A release date for the project has yet to be announced.

Joseph Edwards, professionally known as Jojo Pellegrino, is an American rapper, songwriter and actor from Staten Island, NY. Known for his lyrical abilities and versatility, Pellegrino was formally managed by Chris Lighty as a member of the legendary Violator imprint. Pellegrino made his name in the New York Hip hop scene with his debut singles “Fogedaboudid” and “Where I'm from”, "Fogedaboudid" becoming popular on local radio stations.

Dirty rap is a subgenre of hip hop music that contains lyrical content revolving mainly around sexually explicit subjects.

Production was handled by several record producers, including Mike Heron, Godfather Don, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Marley Marl and Biz Markie. It features guest appearances from Big Noyd, Capone, Cormega, MC Shan, Mobb Deep, Nature, Nashawn, Prince A.D. and Triple Seis. Money & Muscle is the third and final full-length studio album by American hip hop group The Click. It was released on September 25, 2001, through Sick Wid It/Jive Records. Production was handled by Bosko, DJ Fingazz, Rick Rock, Studio Ton, Ant Banks, Bink! and Tone Capone. It features guest appearances from Birdman, Bosko, Levitti and WC. The album peaked at number 99 on the Billboard 200 and number 23 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums in the United States. Along with the single, a music video was released for the song "Say Dat Den".

The discography of N.O.R.E., consists of six studio albums, two compilation albums, five mixtapes and 28 singles.

"Lick Shots" is a buzz single by American recording artist Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliott from her third album, Miss E... So Addictive (2001). The song was written and produced by both Elliott and frequent collaborator Timbaland.
