Somogy is an administrative county in present Hungary, and also in the former Kingdom of Hungary.
Rheostatics are a Canadian indie rock band. They were formed in 1978, and actively performed from 1980 until disbanding in 2007. After a number of reunion performances at special events, Rheostatics reformed in late 2016, introducing new songs and performing semi-regularly.

Secondhand Serenade is an American rock singer, real name John Vesely - a vocalist, pianist and guitarist. Vesely has released four studio albums to date under the name Secondhand Serenade. Maria Gomori was a Hungarian-born Canadian pioneer in the field of systems family therapy. She contributed to the fields of psychiatric and social work training, and designed numerous training programs. She was a proponent of the Satir Method for Family Therapy. In 2004, she was named "Woman of Distinction" for the field of Health and Wellness by the City of Winnipeg. In the same year Winnipeg's Saint Boniface Hospital Research Centre established a lectureship in her name to honour her long and varied contributions to the health system and the people who use it.

Olivia Vesely is an Australian rules footballer playing for the St Kilda Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Vesely signed with St Kilda during the first period of the 2019 expansion club signing period in August. She made her debut against the Western Bulldogs at RSEA Park in the opening round of the 2020 season. It was revealed Vesely had signed on with the Saints for two more years on 30 June 2021, tying her to the club until the end of the 2022/2023 season.
