Rivington Water Treatment Works is a water treatment plant in Rivington, Lancashire, England. It is located below the Lower Rivington Reservoir, the last in the Rivington chain of reservoirs. The first treatment works on the site opened in 1860, supplying water to Liverpool. The present works was built in 1994, and in 2007 was the largest automated three-stage plant operated by United Utilities. Most of its output supplies customers in the Wigan area.
Dallas Water Utilities (DWU) is the water and wastewater service operated by the City of Dallas, Texas, in the United States. DWU is a non-profit City of Dallas department that provides services to the city and 31 nearby communities, employs approximately 1450 people, and consists of 26 programs. The Wahroonga Reservoir is a heritage-listed reservoir located at 1678 Pacific Highway and Woonona Avenue in the Sydney suburb of Wahroonga in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by the Metropolitan Board of Water Supply and Sewerage in 1915. It is also known as Wahroonga Reservoir (Elevated) . The property is owned by Sydney Water, a State-owned statutory corporation of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 November 1999.
