Wisin & Yandel Presentan: La Mente Maestra (Wisin & Yandel Present: The Master Mind) is the third compilation album by WY Records and is Nesty "La Mente Maestra"'s first album. It is presented by Wisin & Yandel and was released on October 28, 2008 by WY Records and Machete Music. The album features production of famous reggaeton producers Nesty "La Mente Maestra" and Victor "El Nasi", as well as an introduction to some underground-successful reggaeton artists Jayko, Gadiel, Franco "El Gorila", and Tico "El Imigrante". The album also features contributions by Tony Dize and Alexis & Fido. The first single, "Me Estás Tentando", was released on October 21, 2008. The single debuted on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart at #50, and has so far peaked at #14. It also charted on the Billboard Latin Rhythm Airplay chart at #4. La Mente Maestra won the Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year. [3]

They started their career in the late 1990s and have been together until 2022 when they announced their separation, winning several awards including a Grammy Award in 2009. They became the first and the only reggaeton artists to win one. In late 2013, they announced they would take a pause in their career as a duo, after their Líderes Tour. La Revolución is the sixth studio album, and the ninth album overall, by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. It was released on May 26, 2009 by Machete Music and WY Records. The album features collaborations with rapper 50 Cent, Ivy Queen, Yaviah, Ednita Nazario and Yomo. The album became a success in the United States and a bigger hit in Latin America. It won the Latin Music Award for Latin Rhythm Album of the Year at the 2010 Latin Billboard Music Awards. To promote the album the artists embarked on the La Revolución Tour in the US.

Sangre Nueva (New Blood) is a compilation album by Héctor el Father and reggaeton producer Naldo. Its purpose is to introduce new artists from the reggaeton genre to the audience. It presents the new generation of reggaeton. It was created to respond to the tidal wave of worldwide interest in reggaeton. The album is one of the most popular reggaeton albums released. Sangre Nueva featured a host of guest artists and marked the beginning of many future reggaeton stars, such as Arcángel & De la Ghetto, Yomo, Franco el Gorila, Gadiel, Kartier and Dandyel. Monserrate and DJ Urba are reggaeton producers from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, respectively. They have been on the business for some years, but they really got a start when Daddy Yankee hired them to produce his Barrio Fino Album. Then they followed up with the Barrio Fino en Directo Album. They are aligned with Luny Tunes's Mas Flow Inc and Daddy Yankee's El Cartel Records.

Premio Lo Nuestro 2010 was held on Thursday February 18, 2010 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL was broadcast live on the Univision Network. The nominees were announced in December 2009 during a live televised morning show Despierta América! on Univision Network. This year marked the first time the awards are presented in High Definition.

The Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year is an honor presented annually by American television network Univision at the Lo Nuestro Awards. The accolade was established to recognize the most talented performers in Latin music. Originally, nominees and winners were selected through a voting poll conducted among program directors of Spanish-language radio stations in the United States, as well as based on chart performance on Billboard Latin music charts, with the results being tabulated and certified by the accounting firm Deloitte. However, since 2004, winners have been selected through an online survey. The trophy awarded is shaped in the form of a treble clef.

<i>Dangerous</i> (Yandel album) 2015 studio album by Yandel

Dangerous is the third studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton and pop artist Yandel, of the duo Wisin & Yandel, released worldwide on November 6, 2015 through Sony Music Latin. Contrary of his previous studio album, De Líder A Leyenda, Dangerous focuses mainly on reggaeton music, with some synthpop and electropop exceptions. It features reggaeton artists including Nicky Jam, Tego Calderón, Gadiel and De La Ghetto, as well as artists from other genres like Lil Jon, Pitbull, French Montana, Future, Shaggy and Alex Sensation. As of March 2016, the album includes only one single: "Encantadora", released on October, as well as a promotional electropop song titled "Somos Uno", released on September 18, 2015. It reached the top position on Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart, surpassing 5,000 copies sold as of November 12, 2015. The album also reached the 10th position on Billboard's Best Latin Albums of 2015 ranking, being one of the two reggaeton albums that were chosen by the magazine's editors, the other one being The Last Don 2 by Don Omar, who reached the 9th position. Dangerous received a latin platinum certification in October 2016 by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 60,000 copies sold in the United States. Its lead single, "Encantadora", was certified with 2× Platinum in Spain by the PROMUSICAE and later with 5× Platinum (Latin) by the RIAA. Dangerous won a Latin American Music Award for Album of the Year on October 6, 2016 and received a nomination for a Lo Nuestro Award for Urban Album of the Year.
