Klaus-Michael Mallmann is a German historian at the University of Stuttgart.
The Free Workers' Union of Germany was an anarcho-syndicalist trade union in Germany. It stemmed from the Free Association of German Trade Unions (FDVG) which combined with the Ruhr region's Freie Arbeiter Union on September 15, 1919.
Jürgen Hans Paul Rieger was a Hamburg lawyer, avowed anti-semite, and deputy chairman of the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD), known for his Holocaust denial. Rieger represented Arpad Wigand former SS Police Leader of the Warsaw district in Occupied Poland, in his trial for war crimes in Hamburg District Court. Wigand was subsequently found guilty in December 1981, and sentenced to 12.5 years.
Eckart Schütrumpf is a professor of classics at the University of Colorado at Boulder and former professor of Classics at the University of Cape Town. He is known for his work on political, ethical, rhetorical and poetic issues in Aristotle, Plato, Cicero, and other ancient writers. In 2005 he won a prestigious research prize from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for foreign scholars in the humanities. He is currently working on an edition of Aristotle's fragments.
Erwin-Josef Speckmann is a German neuroscientist and artist. Until his retirement in 2005, he was the head of the Institute of Physiology at the University of Münster, and a professor in the Art Academy Münster. He is also a former dean of the medical faculty at the University of Münster, two-time president of the German EEG Society, and past president of the German Physiological Society. As well as his work on neuroscience, Speckmann has exhibited his art in several exhibition spaces including the botanical gardens of Münster and published three books about his art. He has also worked to promote music therapy.
Franz Manfred Wuketits was an Austrian biologist, university teacher and epistemologist. He wrote extensively on epistemology, the history and theory of biology, evolution theory, evolutionary ethics, evolutionary epistemology and sociobiology.
Hans-Ulrich Schmincke was a German volcanologist, who published over 300 books and scientific papers over the course of his career. He was awarded the Thorarinsson Medal of the International Association of Volcanology (IAVCEI) in 1993, and the Steinmann Medal of the German Geological Association in 2012.
Ernst Anrich was a German modern historian, sociologist, university professor, academic administrator and publisher, who was the principal founder and managing director of the Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft (WBG) publishing company in Darmstadt, one of Germany's leading academic publishing companies and also one of the largest book clubs in Germany.

He is an author and editor of multiple works on the history of World War II and the Holocaust. Matthäus was a contributor to Christopher Browning's 2004 work The Origins of the Final Solution.
Hugo Stintzing was a German university lecturer in physics at the Technische Hochschule Darmstadt. He was involved in early research on the electron scanning microscope, studied radioactive elements and developed a model for the periodic table. He was the Director of the Institute of X-Ray Physics and Technology at Darmstadt from 1936 to 1945. He was removed from his position due to his involvement in the National Socialist German Workers' Party, and was interned in 1946.

Wege der Forschung is the name of a historic interdisciplinary book series about topics of humanities, first published by Hermann Gentner Verlag in Bad Homburg, later by Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft in Darmstadt. The most important contributions of various authors from the history of research were compiled on a single topic – usually in chronological order. Generally, the essays were already published before, such as in scientific journals; in some cases, however, they were first publications. The series appeared from 1956 to 1995 and comprised 657 volumes. The successor series of the publishing house, which has been published since 2000, is called Neue Wege der Forschung.
