The Super Basketball League (超級籃球聯賽), often abbreviated as the SBL, is a men's developmental basketball league in Taiwan.
Taiwan Power Company Football Club, often shortened to Taipower or, is a Taiwanese professional football club based in Fongshan District, Kaohsiung City which currently competes in the Taiwan Football Premier League. The club was founded in 1978 and is affiliated with Taiwan Power, the country's national utility company.

Gala Television Corporation is a nationwide cable TV network in Taiwan that is operated by the Gala Television Corporation, established on June 13, 1997.
Eastern Broadcasting Company, originally called Eastern Television (ETTV), is a nationwide cable television network in Taiwan that is operated by the Eastern Broadcasting Group, which also operates the online news site ETtoday. ETTV began channel syndications in the United States in 2003 under the name of ETTV America. As of 2007, Eastern Television has sister channels in South America and the People's Republic of China. In November 2015, Eastern Television renamed as Eastern Broadcasting Company.
The Taiwan Power Company Baseball Team, also known as Taipower Baseball Team, is one of the two amateur baseball teams in Taiwan's First Division amateur baseball league that are owned by a government sponsored corporation. It was founded in 1948, and, along with Taiwan Cooperative Bank Baseball Team, have a long tradition of being the two dominant baseball teams in Taiwan's baseball history. At one point, they were known as TCB of the North, Taipower of the South. Although many of its most prominent players left for professional career after the founding of Chinese Professional Baseball League, and struggled to keep its players on the team, it is still considered one of the best teams in the amateur league. It also has been training some of the best baseball players Taiwan had to offer, and many of them are still valuable players on their current team.s
The Chinese Basketball Alliance was a men's professional basketball league in Taiwan that existed from 1995 to 1999. Also abbreviated as "CBA", the defunct organization based in Taiwan was distinct from the Chinese Basketball Association of the People's Republic of China (PRC) and was also not to be confused with the Continental Basketball Association of the United States. In this article, "CBA" refers to the first organization if not otherwise specified.
Chien Wei-chuan, also known as Rosa Chien, is a Taiwanese basketball coach and former player, widely considered the best female basketball player in Taiwanese history. She played on the Chinese Taipei women's national basketball team from 1988 to 2008, taking part in 10 FIBA Asia Championship for Women. She is currently the commissioner of the T1 League.

Swan City Mustangs was a State Basketball League (SBL) club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club fielded a team in both the Men's SBL (MSBL) and Women's SBL (WSBL). The club was a division of the now-defunct Swan Districts Basketball Association (SDBA), the major administrative basketball organisation in the City of Swan. The Mustangs played their home games at Swan Park Leisure Centre.
