Port Augusta is a small city in South Australia. Formerly a seaport, it is now a road traffic and railway junction city mainly located on the east coast of the Spencer Gulf immediately south of the gulf's head and about 322 kilometres (200 mi) north of the state capital, Adelaide. The suburb of Port Augusta West is located on the west side of the gulf on the Eyre Peninsula. Other major industries included, up until the mid-2010s, electricity generation. At June 2018, the estimated urban population was 13,799, having declined at an average annual rate of -0.53% over the preceding five years.
Port Pirie is a small city on the east coast of the Spencer Gulf in South Australia, 223 km (139 mi) north of the state capital, Adelaide. The city has an expansive history which dates back to 1845. Port Pirie was the first proclaimed regional city in South Australia and is currently the second most important and second busiest port in the state.
Renmark is a town in South Australia's rural Riverland area, and is located 254 km (157.83 mi) northeast of Adelaide, on the banks of the River Murray. The Sturt Highway between Adelaide and Sydney runs through the town; Renmark is the last major town encountered in South Australia when driving this route. It is 31 m (101.71 ft) above sea level. At the 2016 census, Renmark had a population of 4,634.
Oodnadatta is a small, remote outback town and locality in the Australian state of South Australia, located 1043 kilometres north-north-west of the state capital of Adelaide by road or 873 km (542 mi) direct, at an altitude of 112 metres. The unsealed Oodnadatta Track, an outback road popular with tourists, runs through the town. In the 2021 census, there were 74 dwellings and the population was 318.
Owen is a rural community in the heart of the Adelaide Plains. Owen is 46 metres (150 ft) above sea-level and receives a reliable 416 mm of rain annually and was first settled in about 1865. It is about 80 km north of Adelaide in South Australia and is approximately 40 minutes by road to the nearest main regional centre of Gawler. It is in the Wakefield Regional Council.

Halbury is a former railway town in South Australia, west of the Clare Valley, halfway between Balaklava and Auburn. At the 2006 census, Halbury had a population of 363.
Mile End is an inner western suburb of Adelaide, located in the City of West Torrens, around 2 kilometres from the Adelaide city centre. It has a census area population of 4,413 people (2011). Much of the suburb is residential, but there are small commercial areas along Henley Beach Road and South Road.

Browns Well Highway is a road connecting Loxton, South Australia through the Murray Mallee to Pinnaroo in South Australia. It was named in 2008 after the Browns Well district for areas traversed by the highway.
Nurragi is a locality on Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia. It was named for and served by the Nurragi railway station which in turn was derived from a native name for scrub. The station and railway alignment are now the Nurragi Conservation Reserve.
Wunkar is a small town in the Murray Mallee region of South Australia. Wunkar was originally a station on the Moorook railway line. The town was surveyed in 1926 after the railway station name was approved in 1925. The railway closed in 1971. Wunkar now lies adjacent to the Stott Highway approximately 27 km west of Loxton. There are bulk grain silos at the former railway station. The school opened in 1925 and closed in 1973.
Sandergrove is a locality in the Australian state of South Australia about 9 km (5.5 mi) south of Strathalbyn. It was a junction on the Victor Harbor railway line, where the Milang railway line branched off. The railway was authorised in 1881 and closed in 1970.
Solomontown is a suburb of Port Pirie in South Australia. It was historically a separate town. It was named after Emanuel Solomon, who owned the land that the town developed on.

Stockyard Creek is a locality between Hamley Bridge and Owen, South Australia in the Mid North region of South Australia. It was established on the Hamley Bridge to Balaklava railway at the site of stockyards used by CB Fisher, 51+3⁄4 miles (83.3 km) north of Adelaide railway station.
Murray Bridge East is a semi-rural satellite locality of Murray Bridge in South Australia east of the Murray River and the eponymous bridge. Its boundaries were formalised in March 2000 to cover a portion of land immediately across the river to the east of the main Murray Bridge conurbation. It is bounded on the southwest by the Adelaide-Melbourne railway line and the defunct Rabila Railway Station is thus on the locality's southern boundary. The Karoonda Highway motor traffic route commences at Murray Bridge East and heads northeast through Karoonda to Loxton.
