This season marked the return of the series after the third season ended in 2021. It is also the first season to air on TV5.
On August 14, 2025, it was announced at the "Iisang Tahanan: Kapamilya Forever Trade Launch" that it will have a fourth season. Jhong Hilario and Vhong Navarro were named as the new hosts, replacing Luis Manzano. [4] [5] [6] To promote the season, Navarro and Hilario appeared as guest performers in the final episode of Idol Kids Philippines on September 28, 2025. [7]
The season is hosted by the tandem of Vhong Navarro and season 3 contestant Jhong Hilario, who both replaced Luis Manzano who was unavailable due to other commitments. [1] [2]
Ogie Alcasid, Sharon Cuneta and Gary Valenciano are set to return as the jury.
Season 3 winner Klarisse de Guzman and season 1 runner-up Nyoy Volante are the mentors for the season for vocals and character and movement, respectively. The former replaced Jed Madela, who was the previous mentor for vocals. [8]
The eight contestants were first teased on September 24, 2025, and were revealed two days later on September 26. Despite JMielle being of both genders, they were counted as one female slot. [9] [10]
