First Congregational Church is a historic church at 292 E. Market Street in Akron, Ohio.

The current building was built in 1910 and added to the National Register in 2004. The congregation was chartered in 1835, making it Akron's oldest.

It is a part of the United Church of Christ.

St. Pauls Sunday School and Parish House United States historic place

St. Paul's Sunday School and Parish House was erected at the corner of at East Market and Forge Streets in Akron, Ohio, for $35,000 in 1884-85 by the St. Paul's Episcopal Church located at 1361 West Market Street. It was built primarily to serve as a Sunday school and parish house, but also as a sanctuary. After closing its doors as a church, the building served as the Firestone Conservatory of Music at the University of Akron until the addition of Guzzetta Hall to the university's campus in 1976. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places that same year.

The First Methodist Church is a historic church at the junction of Chestnut and 4th Streets, NW corner in Lewisville, Arkansas. The single story brick building was designed by Witt, Seibert & Company of Texarkana and built in 1913. It is distinctive as one of the only church buildings to survive from Lewisville's period of economic prosperity during the lumber boom, and as an Akron Plan design with Classical Revival features.

Akron Opera House United States historic place

Akron Opera House is a historic building located in Akron, Iowa, United States. The American Insurance Company of Des Moines promised the local citizens that if they bought enough insurance policies they would build the town an opera house. The $18,000 building was completed in 1905, with the interior completed the next year. The first floor housed commercial space, with the opera house occupying the second and third floors. The 600-seat theatre featured a stage on the north end and balcony and main floor seating. The first play was the disappointing The Homeseekers on February 15, 1906. The first opera was The Rajah of Altara on February 28, 1906. Akron was on a circuit that brought traveling companies of actors, musicians and politicians to rural communities. In addition to musical and theatrical performances, the theatre hosted lyceum speakers, medicine shows, school events, boxing matches, basketball games, dances, Chautauqua’s, political gatherings, and church activities. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
