The 13th Jatiya Sangsad [a] is currently in the process of being established as parliament of Bangladesh, formed following the general election held on 12 February 2026. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party, led by Prime Minister-designate Tarique Rahman, has secured over 200 seats, achieving a clear parliamentary majority and will form the 25th government cabinet.
