<i>The Monster Kid</i> Shōnen manga and anime series

The Monster Kid is a shōnen manga and anime series by Fujiko Fujio named after its protagonist. The first series was broadcast on TBS from April 21, 1968, to March 23, 1969. The second series was broadcast on TV Asahi from September 2, 1980, to September 28, 1982. A live-action series was broadcast on Nippon Television and Yomiuri Television from April 17 to June 12, 2010. The 94-episode 1982 iteration was aired around the world, marketed as The Monster Kid, which was the official English title.

Hana no Asuka-gumi! is a Japanese manga by Satosumi Takaguchi serialized in Monthly Asuka. It was adapted into a television drama series, two live action films, two OVAs and two drama CDs. It is one of the series with delinquent girls (sukeban) popular in the 1980s. Two new manga series were published, one from 2003 to 2009 and the other from 2007 to 2008.

<i>Asari-chan</i> Japanese manga series

Asari-chan (あさりちゃん) is a Japanese shōjo slice of life manga series by Mayumi Muroyama. With a total circulation of 28 million copies, it is one of the best-selling manga. It was adapted into an anime television series and an anime film. The TV series was produced by Toei Animation a subsidiary of Toei Company, and directed by Kazumi Fukushima. The anime follows Asari, a normal but stupid elementary school fourth-grade girl who does not get along with her family.

Tao Tsuchiya is a Japanese actress. She is best known for her memorable role of Makimachi Misao in the movie series Rurouni Kenshin, as Mai Nakahara in The 8-Year Engagement, Koharu in The Cinderella Addiction and most recently as Yuzuha Usagi in Netflix's Alice in Borderland. Her older sister, Honoka, works as a model, while her younger brother, Shimba Tsuchiya, is also an actor.
