The 1995 European Youth Summer Olympic Days was the third edition of multi-sport event for European youths between the ages of 12 and 18. It was held at the University of Bath, United Kingdom from 9 to 14 July 1995. A total of ten sports were contested.

The European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) is a biennial multi-sport event for youth athletes from the 50 member countries of the association of European Olympic Committees. The festival has a summer edition, held for the first time in Brussels in 1991, and a winter edition, which began two years later in Aosta. The table tennis competition at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics took place in Singapore Indoor Stadium between 21 and 26 August, with training hall set in National University of Singapore (NUS). 64 athletes composed of 32 boys and 32 girls at the age between 14 and 16 competed in different events of Men's Singles and Women's Singles. Further, each athlete paired with another athlete of the opposite sex participated in Mixed Team event. Each team match consisted of the best of three matches. The Women's Singles was played first, followed by Men's Singles and Mixed Doubles.

Siobhan-Marie O'Connor is a former English competitive swimmer who has represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games, the FINA World Aquatics Championships and the LEN European Aquatics Championships, and England at the Commonwealth Games. A specialist in the 200 metres individual medley, she is the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games champion in the event, and has won silver medals in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, 2016 European Aquatics Championships, the 2014 World Short-Course Championships and the 2013 and 2015 European Short Course Championships – on each occasion behind World and Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú. The athletics competition at the 1995 European Youth Summer Olympic Days was held from 10 to 13 July. The events took place at the University of Bath, United Kingdom. Boys and girls born 1978 or 1979 or later participated 27 track and field events, divided equally between the sexes with the exception of 3000 metres, 2000 metres steeplechase and pole vault for boys but not girls.
