The 2004 Wallabies spring tour was a series of five matches played by the Australia national rugby union team in November 2004.
The 2002 South Africa rugby union tour of France Scotland and England was a series of matches played by the South Africa national rugby union team in November 2002 in France, Scotland and England. The tour concluded with a 53–3 loss against England, the worst defeat in the history of the Springboks.
Throughout August 2003, various teams prepared for the Rugby World Cup in Australia with a short series of test matches, and involving the Six Nations sides. In addition, Fiji toured New Zealand and South America and Samoa played two matches with provincial teams of New Zealand. Argentina and South Africa played other, not international, Tests.
