The 2002 FIVB World Grand Prix was the tenth women's volleyball tournament of its kind. The event was held over four weeks in three countries and six cities throughout Asia: Philippines, Thailand, PR China, Chinese Taipei and Japan, culminating with the final round at Hong Kong Coliseum in Hong Kong from 1 to 4 August 2002.

The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Brazil captured their record eleventh title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over defending champions United States. In the bronze medal match, The Netherlands prevailed in five sets over Russia. Natália Pereira was elected the most valuable player.

The 2019 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the second edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual international women's volleyball tournament contested by 16 national teams. The competition was held between May and July 2019, and for the second time, the final round took place in the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, Nanjing, China.
