The 2017 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 25th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 32 teams between 7 July and 6 August. [1] [2] The Group 1 Final Round was held in Nanjing, China. [3]

Contents

Defending champions Brazil won their record twelfth title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over Italy. [4] [5] Serbia captured their third bronze medal in the competition by defeating China in a rematch of the previous year's Olympic final. [6] Natália Pereira from Brazil was elected the MVP for the second straight year.

In the Group 2 finals held in Ostrava, Czech Republic, Poland defeated South Korea in straight sets. [7]

Moreover, Hungary finished atop of Group 3 at their first-ever World Grand Prix participation after a 3–0 win over the home team in the final match in Canberra, Australia. [8]

  5. If the tie continues as per the point ratio between two teams, priority will be given to the team which won the last match between them. When the tie in points ratio is between three or more teams, a new classification of these teams in terms of points 1, 2, and 3 will be made, taking into consideration only the matches in which they were opposed to each other.

Match won 3–0 or 3–1: 3 match points for the winner, 0 match points for the loser
Match won 3–2: 2 match points for the winner, 1 match point for the loser

The Group 1 final round was held in Kraków, Poland. After being runners-up on five occasions, Serbia finally claimed their first World League after prevailing over Brazil in straight sets. The defending champions France claimed their first ever bronze medal at the World League after a fast victory in straight sets against Italy. Marko Ivović was elected the most valuable player.

The 2019 FIVB Women's Volleyball Olympic Qualification Tournaments, also known as FIVB Tokyo Volleyball Qualification, were the six volleyball tournaments that were contested by 24 women's national teams of the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), where the top teams earned a place in the 2020 Summer Olympics volleyball tournament. The tournament was held from 1 to 4 August 2019.

The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League will be the fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's Nations League, an annual men's international volleyball tournament. The competition will be held between 6 June to 23 July 2023, and the final round will take place in Ergo Arena, Gdańsk, Poland.

The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League will be the fifth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual Women's international volleyball tournament. The competition will be held between 30 May to 16 July 2023, and the final round will take place at College Park Center, Arlington, Texas, United States.
