Mayor Maria Lourdes "Marides" Fernando was on her first term, and she ran for re-election for second term. She was challenged by singer-actor Jose Parsons Nabiula of PMP, Benjamin "Nonong" Molina Jr., Richard "Dick" Curry, and Evenicula "Bing" Maglajos of DGIPP.[ citation needed ]

Vice Mayor Marion Andres was on his first term, and he ran for re-election for second term. [1] He was challenged by Rudy Francisco and Maribel "Cookie" Espinosa.[ citation needed ]
