The 2007 J. League Division 2 season is the 36th season of the second-tier club football in Japan and the 9th season since the establishment of J2 League. The season began on March 3 and ended on December 1.

The 2006 J. League Division 2 season is the 35th season of the second-tier club football in Japan and the 8th season since the establishment of J2 League.

The 2012 Vegalta Sendai season was Vegalta Sendai's third consecutive season, and fifth overall, in J.League Division 1. They ended the season in second place, an all-time best finish for Sendai. The 2021 J.League Cup, known as the 2021 J.League YBC Levain Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 29th edition of J.League Cup, a Japanese association football cup competition. It began on 2 March 2021 and ended on 30 October that year.

The 2020 FC Tokyo season is their 9th consecutive season in J1 League after finishing the 2019 season in 2nd place. They will also compete in the J.League Cup.

The 2022 J.League Cup, known as the 2022 J.League YBC Levain Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 30th edition of J.League Cup, a Japanese association football cup competition. It began on 23 February 2022 and ended on 22 October that year.
