The J1 League or simply J1 is the top division of the Japan Professional Football League and the top professional Soccer J.League in Japan. It is one of the most successful leagues in Asian club football. Currently, the J1 League is the first level of the Japanese association football league system. Kazuyoshi Miura Japanese association footballer

Kazuyoshi Miura, often known simply as Kazu, is a Japanese footballer who plays as a forward for Yokohama FC in the J1 League. He played for the Japan national team from 1990 to 2000, and was the first Japanese recipient of the Asian Footballer of the Year award. Miura, whose rise to fame in Japan coincided with the launch of the J.League in 1993, was arguably Japan's first superstar in football. He is also known for his trademark "Kazu Feint" and his famous "Kazu dance", when he scores great goals or produces great plays.

Gamba Osaka

Gamba Osaka are a Japanese professional football club based in Suita, Osaka Prefecture. The club plays in the J1 League, which is the top tier of football in the country. The team's name Gamba comes from the Italian word "gamba" meaning "leg" and the Japanese ganbaru (頑張る), meaning "to do your best" or "to stand firm". The team's home stadium is Suita City Football Stadium.

Shunsuke Nakamura

Shunsuke Nakamura is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Yokohama FC in J1 League. He is the only person to have been named J.League Most Valuable Player more than once, receiving the award in 2000 and 2013. He is well known for his vision, touch, bending shots and free kick-taking abilities; Steve Perryman once remarked that Nakamura "could open a tin of beans with his left foot".

J.League

The J.League, officially Japan Professional Football League is Japan's professional football league including the first division J1 League, second division J2 League and third division J3 League. J1 League is one of the most successful leagues in Asian club football. It is currently sponsored by Meiji Yasuda Life and thus officially known as the Meiji Yasuda J.League.

The 2006 J.League Division 1 season was the 14th season since the establishment of the J.League. It began on March 4 and ended on December 2.

The 2005 season was the 13th season since the establishment of J.League. It began on March 5 and ended on December 3, followed by promotion/relegation series matches on December 7 and 10.

The 2004 J.League Division 1 season was the 12th season of the J1 League. The league fixture began on March 13, 2004 and ended on December 11, 2004. The Suntory Championship 2004 took place on December 5 and December 11, 2004. The first ever J.League Promotion / Relegation Series took place on December 4 and December 12, 2004.
