2009 Trans-Am Series

The 2009 Trans-Am Series was the 41st running of the Sports Car Club of America's Trans-Am Series. It was also the first official season since 2005. (Although the series held two races at Heartland Park Topeka in 2006, [1] the races were considered after the fact to be exhibition events and no championship is officially counted.[ citation needed ]). Tomy Drissi won the series championship over the seven rounds contested.

Tomy Drissi is an American professional stock and sports car racing driver, and an advertising executive in the movie industry. A long-time competitor in the Sports Car Club of America's Trans-Am Series, he was the series' 2009 Champion.

Muscle Milk Pickett Racing was a motorsports group from Indianapolis, Indiana. The team was founded in 2007 by CytoSport co-founder and former IMSA GT Championship driver Greg Pickett. Since 2007, Pickett's team has competed in the United SportsCar Championship, the American Le Mans Series, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. The team officially closed in 2014.

The HPD ARX-03a, ARX-03b, and ARX-03c are Le Mans Prototypes race cars developed by Honda Performance Development in 2012. The 03a model utilizes a Honda V8 engine for use in the LMP1 category, while the 03b uses a turbocharged V6 engine for the LMP2 category. The race was held a two hour and 45 minute time period, during which 117 laps of the 3.9 kilometre circuit were completed for a race distance of 463 kilometres.

The 2013 Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix was an auto racing event held at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada from July 19–21, 2013 The race was the fifth round of the 2013 American Le Mans Series season. Muscle Milk Pickett Racing, with drivers Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr, extended their streak of season victories to four by earning a win with a four lap gap over second place and P2 class winners Level 5 Motorsports. CORE Autosport led the PC category, while Corvette Racing scored their third victory of the season in the GT class. Alex Job Racing won the GTC category, two weeks after badly damaging their car at the previous event in Lime Rock.

Roger Eagleton is an American race car driver and entrepreneur, born in Glendale, California. He is currently based in Waikiki, Honolulu and is the 2019 Trans-Am West Coast Champion in the GT Class.
