The 2012 European Baseball Championship was an international baseball tournament being held from September 7 to September 16, 2012. [1] The Confederation of European Baseball selected the Netherlands to host the tournament.

In Israel, there are approximately 1,000 baseball players in 16 cities across the country. Volunteer coaches and donors are instrumental to the growth and development of the sport, as baseball resources are very low. The Israel Association of Baseball (IAB) is the governing body of the sport. As of the end of 2023, Israel was ranked 19th in the world in the sport. The country was one of six nations to qualify for baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth in the tournament.
The 2007 European Baseball Championship was an international baseball tournament held from September 7 to 16, between national baseball teams of the Confederation of European Baseball. The tournament was held in Barcelona, Spain and served as the qualifying competition for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. The Netherlands won the tournament for the 5th consecutive time and qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Great Britain and Spain advanced to a final qualifying tournament in Taiwan. Prior to the tournament, Greece was removed by the European Baseball Confederation and replaced with Austria. Czech Republic was downgraded to last place at the end of the tournament and its wins in the preliminary round vacated due to the use of ineligible players. This was the first time that five teams, rather than two, were relegated to the B-Pool.
The Israel National Baseball Team represents Israel in international competitions. It is managed by Ian Kinsler.
The 2010 European Baseball Championship was an international baseball competition held in Germany from July 23 to August 1, 2010. The tournament was originally set to be held in 2009 with Russia as host. In March 2008, the Confederation of European Baseball awarded the tournament to the German Baseball and Softball Federation. The event was hosted by the cities of Stuttgart, Heidenheim an der Brenz and Neuenburg am Rhein in the southwest of Germany.

The 2016 European Baseball Championship was an international baseball tournament organized by Confederation of European Baseball. The 2016 European Championship was held from September 9 to 18, 2016 in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. It was organized by the Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Association (KNBSB), the City of Hoofddorp and the local baseball club Hoofddorp Pioniers.

Dean Junior Kremer is an Israeli–American professional baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB). In 2015, he became the first Israeli drafted by an MLB team. He made his MLB debut in September 2020.
Corey A. Baker is an Israeli-American former professional baseball pitcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, and a former video replay coordinator for the Minnesota Twins. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team.
Joseph Samuel Wagman is an American-Israeli right-handed former professional baseball pitcher. He also plays for the Israel National Baseball Team.
Nate Fish is an American–Israeli writer, artist, baseball player, and coach. He is the CEO of Israel Baseball America, manager of the Israel National Team, and manager of the Savannah Bananas.
Blake Shane Gailen is an American-Israeli hitting coach for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and left-handed former professional baseball outfielder. He also played for the Israel National Baseball Team.
Shlomo Lipetz is an Israeli baseball player who pitches for Team Israel. He is also Vice President of Programming and music director at City Winery in New York City.
Jonathan de Marte is an American-Israeli professional baseball player who plays as pitcher for the Israel national baseball team. He is 6-1 and weighs 205 lbs. As a high school player, he was a two-time New York State Gatorade Player of the Year. He played college baseball for the University of Richmond. In 2018, he became a dual Israeli citizen. In 2020, he signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs; however, he did not pitch for them due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team, and pitched for Team Israel at the 2019 European Baseball Championship. He also pitched for the team at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019, which Israel won to qualify to play baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He pitched for Team Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the summer of 2021.
Zachary William Penprase is an American-Israeli former professional baseball infielder. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team. He played for Team Israel at the 2019 European Baseball Championship. He also played for the team at the Africa/Europe 2020 Olympic Qualification tournament in Italy in September 2019, which Israel won to qualify to play baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He played for Team Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the summer of 2021.
Eric Brodkowitz is an American-Israeli professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He plays for the Israel National Baseball Team. Pitching for the Yale Bulldogs, he was named to the 2018 First Team All-Ivy League Team as a unanimous selection. In 2021, he has pitched for the Idaho Falls Chukars of the Pioneer League. Brodkowitz is also a investment banking analyst with Goldman Sachs.
Tal Erel is an Israeli baseball player for the Israel National Baseball Team. He has played college baseball at Lynn University. He played for Team Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the summer of 2021.

Jeremy Daniel Wolf is an American-Israeli baseball player on the Israel National Baseball Team.
Robert Paller is an American-Israeli professional baseball outfielder for the New Jersey Jackals of the Frontier League. On the international level, he represents the Israel national baseball team. He played college baseball for the Columbia Lions baseball team, and was First Team All-Ivy League in his senior year. He has since also played in the Frontier League, the Canadian-American Association, and the United Shore Professional Baseball League. He played left field and center field for Team Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the summer of 2021.
