The 2012 LPGA of Japan Tour was the 45th season of the LPGA of Japan Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of Japan. It consisted of 35 golf tournaments, all played in Japan. Jeon Mi-jeong of South Korea won four tournaments and was the leading money winner with earnings of ¥131,827,582.

The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) is an American organization for female golfers. Jiyai Shin South Korean golfer

Jiyai Shin is a former world No. 1 ranked South Korean professional golfer who primarily plays on the LPGA of Japan Tour as of the 2020 golf season. She previously played primarily on the LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Korea Tour (KLPGA). She has broken existing KLPGA records, winning 10 events in 19 starts on the KLPGA Tour in 2007. In 2008, playing only 10 tournaments on the LPGA Tour as a non-member, she won three events, including the Women's British Open and the ADT Championship. She has been ranked No. 1 in the Women's World Golf Rankings for 25 weeks and was the first Asian to be ranked No. 1.

The 2013 LPGA of Japan Tour was the 46th season of the LPGA of Japan Tour, the professional golf tour for women operated by the Ladies Professional Golfers' Association of Japan. It consisted of 36 golf tournaments, all played in Japan. Rikako Morita and Sakura Yokomine each won four tournaments and Morita was the leading money winner with earnings of ¥126,675,049.
