The 34th Indonesian Film Festival ceremony took place on 6 December 2014 at the Palembang Sport and Convention Center, Palembang, South Sumatra, Indonesia, to honor the achievement in Indonesian cinema of 2014. [1] It was broadcast on Kompas TV and BeritaSatu and hosted by presenters Steny Agustaf and Indy Barends.

Sports drama film Lights from the East: I Am Maluku won the Best Picture and Best Actor for Chicco Jerikho, making it the first Best Picture winner to win only one other Citra Award. [2] Drama films Soekarno and Tabula Rasa received the most awards with four. [3] Other winners included Killers and The Jungle School with two. Actor Slamet Rahardjo received the Lifetime Achievement Award. [4]

Winners and nominations

The nominations were announced on 25 November 2014 at the Balairung Soesilo Soedarman, Jakarta. [5] Biographical drama films dominated the nominations with Soekarno leading with thirteen, followed by 3 Nafas Likas with eleven and The Jungle School with nine. [6]

The film stars Iqbaal Ramadhan and Vanesha Prescilla as the main roles, with some high-profile names in supporting, minor, or cameo roles; Farhan, Happy Salma, Adhisty Zara of idol group JKT48, and Ridwan Kamil, the then-Mayor of Bandung. The film has been watched by 6.3 million people. It is the best-selling Indonesian film of 2018 and the second best-selling Indonesian film of all time, just behind Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss! The 41st Indonesian Film Festival ceremony, presented by the Indonesian Film Board and Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, honored the achievement in Indonesian cinema released from 1 October 2020 to 31 August 2021. The ceremony was held on 10 November 2021 at the Assembly Hall, Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta, Indonesia, and presented by actors Tissa Biani, Prilly Latuconsina, Angga Yunanda and Jefri Nichol. Tumpal Tampubolon is an Indonesian film director, screenwriter, and actor. His feature-length directorial debut, Crocodile Tears, had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

The 44th Indonesian Film Festival ceremony, presented by Indonesian Film Board and Ministry of Education, honored the achievement in Indonesian cinema released from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. The ceremony was held on 20 November 2024 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition, BSD City, Banten.

Tabula Rasa is a 2014 drama film directed by Adriyanto Dewo in his directorial debut from a screenplay written by Tumpal Tampubolon. The film stars Jimmy Kobogau, Dewi Irawan, Yayu Unru, and Ozzol Ramdan.
