The Citra Award for Best Adapted Screenplay (Indonesian : Piala Citra untuk Penulis Skenario Adaptasi Terbaik) is an award presented annually at the Indonesian Film Festival since 2006. Together with the Citra Award for Best Original Screenplay, it replaced the integrated Citra Award for Best Screenplay.

In 2019, Gina S. Noer became the first person to win both Best Original Screenplay and Best Adapted Screenplay in the same year for her work on Cemara's Family and Two Blue Stripes . [1]

The Citra Award for Best Cinematography is an award presented annually at the Indonesian Film Festival since its inaugural edition in 1955, to honor the achievement in cinematography. Starting in 1979, the award began to introduce nominees.

The 44th Indonesian Film Festival ceremony, presented by Indonesian Film Board and Ministry of Education, honored the achievement in Indonesian cinema released from 1 September 2023 to 31 August 2024. The ceremony was held on 20 November 2024 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition, BSD City, Banten.

The 14th Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival was held on 19 to 23 November 2019 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A total of 107 films from 23 countries were screened during the festival. Black comedy fantasy film Abracadabra opened the festival and it closed with Bradley Liew's Hotel Acacia.
