The team made its international debut in 2009, although the United States has been an associate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1965. The United States is one of the leading associate teams in the ICC Americas region and has participated in two editions of the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier and two editions of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier, although it is yet to qualify for any World Cups.

During 2018 the International Cricket Council (ICC) named Hetmyer as one of the five breakout stars in men's cricket. He is also the current captain of CPL side Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Wesley Austin Agar is an Australian cricketer. He is a fast bowler who has played for Australia's national youth team, and has played first-class and List A cricket for South Australia and Twenty20s for the Adelaide Strikers. He is the younger brother of fellow Australian international cricketer, Ashton Agar. He made his international debut for Australia in July 2021.

Cameron Stevenson is an Australian-born American cricketer who represents the United States cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast medium bowler.

This is a list of the squads picked for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. All 10 teams were required to submit a 15-member squad by 23 April, with changes to the squad allowed to be made up to 22 May. New Zealand were the first team to name their squad, naming their team on 3 April 2019. The West Indies were the last team to name their squad, announcing their team on 24 April 2019, one day after the initial deadline set by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup took place in the West Indies in January and February 2022. South Africa were the first team to name their team, with the following squads selected for the tournament.
