The 2017 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards was the 65th season of the ARCA Racing Series. The season began on February 18 with the Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire and ended on October 20 with the Kansas 150. Austin Theriault, driving for the Ken Schrader Racing team, won the drivers' championship on the strength of seven wins. Dalton Sargeant, winner of three races, was runner-up to Theriault.

Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) was an American stock car racing team that competed in the ARCA Racing Series from 2014 to 2018. The team was founded in 2013 by Mason Mitchell, and veteran NASCAR crew chief Brad Parrott, and they last fielded the No. 78 Chevrolet SS for multiple drivers, and the No. 98 Chevrolet SS, also for multiple drivers. They won the 2014 ARCA Racing Series championship with owner/driver, Mason Mitchell.

Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) is a Japanese-American professional stock car racing team that currently competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Owned by former NASCAR and open-wheel driver Shigeaki Hattori they compete with the No. 16 Toyota Tundra full-time for Tyler Ankrum and the No. 61 Toyota part-time for Christopher Bell and Jake Drew in the Truck Series. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 38 Ford F-150 for Front Row Motorsports, part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 28 Ford Mustang for RSS Racing, and part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the Nos. 36 and 38 Ford Mustangs for FRM and the No. 51 Mustang for Rick Ware Racing. He is the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion.

He previously drove in the series for Win-Tron Racing full-time in 2017 and 2018 and part-time in 2016, 2019 and 2020. Dean also drove for Mason Mitchell Motorsports part-time in ARCA in 2016, winning the race at Talladega that year. Dean also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series full-time in 2019 for Young's Motorsports and part-time in 2020 in 2021 for Hill Motorsports.
