The 2017 American Canadian Tour is the 31st season of the American Canadian Tour. The series began at Lee USA Speedway on April 8, and ends at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on October 14. Nick Sweet is the defending champion. [1]

Charlotte Motor Speedway is a motorsport complex located in Concord, North Carolina, 13 mi (21 km) outside Charlotte. The complex features a 1.5 mi (2.4 km) quad oval track that hosts NASCAR racing including the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, the NASCAR All-Star Race, and the Bank of America Roval 400. The speedway was built in 1959 by Bruton Smith and is considered the home track for NASCAR with many race teams located in the Charlotte area. The track is owned and operated by Speedway Motorsports with Marcus G. Smith as track president.
Bristol Motor Speedway, formerly known as Bristol International Raceway and Bristol Raceway, is a NASCAR short track venue located in Bristol, Tennessee. Constructed in 1960, it held its first NASCAR race on July 30, 1961. Bristol is among the most popular tracks on the NASCAR schedule because of its distinct features, which include extraordinarily steep banking, an all-concrete surface, two pit roads, and stadium-like seating. It has also been named one of the loudest NASCAR tracks.
The Honda Indy Toronto is an annual Indy Car race, held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Originally known as the Molson Indy Toronto, it was part of the Champ Car World Series from 1986 to 2007. After a one-year hiatus, it has been part of the NTT IndyCar Series schedule since 2009. The race takes place on a 2.874-kilometre (1.786 mi), 11 turn, temporary street circuit through Exhibition Place and on Lake Shore Boulevard. Toronto is classified as an FIA Grade Two circuit.
The Baptist Health 200 is an annual 200-mile (321.869 km) NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race held at the Homestead–Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. The race began as a 250-mile race in 1996, but beginning with the 2002 season, the race was shortened by 50 miles.
The Cheddar's 300 is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race that takes place at Bristol Motor Speedway, the first of two Bristol races on the schedule.
The Drive for the Cure 250 presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina is a NASCAR Xfinity Series stock car race that takes place at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The 1985 race was extended to 400.5 miles (644.5 km), which still stands as the longest race distance run in Xfinity Series history.
Bryan Clauson was an American professional auto racing driver. Best known for his achievements in dirt track open-wheel racing, such as USAC Silver Crown, Midget and Sprint cars. Bryan was seen more and more competing with the World of Outlaws (WoO) sprint cars in his last couple of years. Clauson was a dirt track icon who also competed in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, Indy Lights, and IndyCar Series and was a development driver for Chip Ganassi Racing.
Oxford Plains Speedway is a 3/8 mile racetrack located in Oxford, Maine. Established in 1950, the track was originally a half mile before being shortened to a 3/8 mile track. With 14,000 seats, the speedway has the largest seating capacity of any sporting venue in Maine. The main race held there is the HP Hood Oxford 250, which has run under various sanctions over the years; in the early 1990s, the race was a combination race between the NASCAR Busch Series and NASCAR Busch North Series, but it later became an American Canadian Tour Late Model race, and now a Pro All Star Series Super Late Model race. The 250 green flag lap race has often featured stars from NASCAR's three national series, even when it was not an Xfinity championship race in the early 1990s, as it is currently held during the NASCAR late-summer off week. Among the NASCAR stars who have raced the annual Oxford 250 are 17 drivers who have won NASCAR Cup Series majors, with eleven of them Sprint Cup Series champions, and five of those are now NASCAR Hall of Fame members.
The American Canadian Tour (ACT) is a late model stock car racing series based in the northeastern United States, and Quebec, Canada. The current American-Canadian Tour Late Model Tour was founded in 1992 as a cost-cutting, regional touring division conducts races across New England and Quebec. The ACT Late Model Tour will open it's 29th season in April 2020 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire.
The La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway is a semi-banked asphalt oval racetrack in West Salem, Wisconsin. The outer track is 5/8 mile and the inner track is a 1/4 mile. The speedway has progressive banking in the corners, from 5 degrees on the bottom to 11 degrees on the top. The track was built at the fairgrounds for La Crosse County. It used to host an event on the American Speed Association (ASA) and the ASA Late Model Series before the demise of the series. It currently hosts annual touring events on the ARCA Midwest Tour and Mid American Stock Car Series. It hosts weekly stock car races which are sanctioned by the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. It was the first NASCAR-sanctioned race track in Wisconsin.
The General Tire 150 was a 150 miles (240 km) ARCA Menards Series race held at the Kentucky Speedway.
The 2014 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the 12th season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Whelen Season Opener 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 9. It ended with the Southern Slam 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 9. George Brunnhoelzl III entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion.

It began with the UNOH Battle at the Beach at Daytona International Speedway on February 18, which did not count towards the championship. The first race for the championship was the Icebreaker 150 presented by Town Fair Tire at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on April 6. It ended with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson again on October 19. Ryan Preece entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion. 2012 champion Doug Coby won the 2014 championship after 13 races, 22 points ahead of Preece. Preece won the last race, which meant he went from sixth to second in the championship.
The 2015 NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour was the thirteenth season of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (WSMT). It began with the Spring Classic 150 at Caraway Speedway on March 15 and ended with the Charlotte 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 8. Andy Seuss, who entered the season as the defending Drivers' Champion, won the championship, three points in front of George Brunnhoelzl III. Five races during the season were televised in the United States on NBCSN by a tape-delay.
Austin Theriault is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 52 for Rick Ware Racing, and part-time in the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, driving the No. 92 Ford F-150 for RBR Enterprises. He won the ARCA Racing Series championship in 2017, driving for Ken Schrader Racing.

Beginning on May 22 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the season consisted of twelve races at eleven different venues in Canada. The season ended at Kawartha Speedway on September 18. Scott Steckly was the defending Drivers' Champion. Cayden Lapcevich won the 2016 championship when the Green Flag dropped at the last race, as there were not enough entries for Lapcevich to lose that many points that Andrew Ranger could have taken the championship. Lapcevich won the championship by a 54-point margin over Ranger.

Beginning on May 21 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, the season consisted of thirteen races at eleven different venues in Canada. The season ended at Jukasa Motor Speedway on September 23. Cayden Lapcevich is the defending Drivers' Champion. Alex Labbé won the championship when the Green Flag dropped at the last race, as there were not enough entries for Labbé to lose that many points that Kevin Lacroix could have taken the championship. Labbé won the championship by a 16-point margin over Lacroix.
The 2017 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series season is the 39th season of the winged sprint car series in North America. The season began with the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park on February 17, and will end with the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on November 4. Donny Schatz entered the 2017 season as the defending series champion. Schatz won the series championship for the 9th time in 2017.
The 2018 World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series was the 40th season of the winged sprint car series sanctioned by World Racing Group, competing throughout the United States. The season began with the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park on February 9, and ended with the World of Outlaws World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte on November 3. Donny Schatz defended his 2017 championship by winning his tenth title in 2018.
The 2018 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series is the 13th season of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, a national touring series for dirt late models owned & operated by Lucas Oil. The series began with the Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway on February 2, and will end with the Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth Raceway Park on October 20.
