Taylor North Little League of Taylor, Michigan, defeated West Side Little League of Hamilton, Ohio, in the championship by a 5–2 score. It was the first championship for a team from Michigan since 1959.

The two eight-team tournament brackets were named after Major League Baseball players and National Baseball Hall of Fame inductees Hank Aaron and Tom Seaver, who died in January 2021 and August 2020, respectively.

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Little League Baseball made the decision to hold the tournament without teams from outside of the United States for the first time since 1975.
