The 2019 European Diving Championships were held in Kyiv, Ukraine from 5 to 11 August 2019. This was the sixth edition of the stand-alone Championships, and the 40th European Championships in diving in total, including the diving portion of the European Aquatics Championships.

The event is a qualification event for the 2020 Summer Olympics with quota places awarded to the nation of the winners of both men's and women's 3 metre and 10 metre events. [1] [2]

Championships Trophy

The trophy is assigned to the nation with most points gained by the top 12 athletes or teams in each event. [4] Russia won the title with 258 points, while the previous Trophy's winner and host Ukraine finished at fourth place. [3]

The Diving events at the 2015 European Games took place at the Baku Aquatics Centre, Baku from 18 to 21 June 2015. Eight events were contested, six from the Olympic program, 3 metre and 3 metre synchronised springboard, and platform for both men and women. In addition, two non-Olympic events, men's and women's 1m springboard, were be held. The Olympic events of men's and women's 10 metre synchronised diving were not held.

The quotas have already been set for each event by the International Canoe Federation in October 2018.

The 16th FINA World Swimming Championships took place from 13 to 18 December 2022 in Melbourne, Australia at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre. Swimming events in the championships were conducted in a 25-metre outdoor pool.
